Dear Hatten Melaka Team, I wanted to take a moment to share some feedback during our stay between 17 April and 19 April. We truly had a wonderful time, and Hatten Melaka continues to be our go-to hotel whenever we visit Melaka. The hotel’s cleanliness is always impressive, and the friendliness of your staff right from the entrance & makes us feel so welcome each time. Checking in at the counter was seamless, and your team was both friendly and incredibly helpful. While our room (1430) was clean and neat, we noticed a couple of things that could be improved. The sofa had some visible stains, which detracted a bit from the overall comfort. Additionally, although there were two shower heads—the rain shower functioned well, but the handheld shower wasn’t working as there was no button to switch. It would be helpful to know if the handheld shower could be made usable for future guests. We also wanted to share some thoughts about the buffet breakfast. This has been a recurring issue during our stays: the restaurant appears to be understaffed, and tables aren’t cleared quickly enough for the next guests. On this visit, we had to clear our own table, which was a bit inconvenient. While the food was delicious as always, there were many empty trays, and unfortunately, the items were not replenished. We arrived around 9 am and were disappointed to see several trays empty at the buffet. We hope this feedback helps your team continue to improve. We truly enjoy staying at Hatten Melaka and look forward to our next visit. Buffet breakfast, understaff and the several items at the buffet were not replenished.

The location, the breakfast and certainly the whole hotel team is really great and polite, and professional.. Although it wasn’t a high season but hotel was overcrowded, especially during breakfast… the bridge from hotel to another mall beside hospital is closed, need to cross the road..

The shower holder was not in good working condition, the shower head kept tilting downwards making it difficult to use the shower head. The breakfast spread good have been better. The plain porridge was very watery. The room lighting was very dim.

Nothing I was requesting early check-in when I made the booking, as I have a child with me. I traveled for a long time with my child and when I reached the hotel, it was almost one o'clock. My check-in time was three o'clock. I requested them to arrange for me to check in a little early. I have a child with me. I requested them to allow me to check in early while booking, but they did not help me. Even after making many requests to them, they did not listen. Then they told me that if you want to get a room before 3 pm, you have to pay 150 RM for 2 hours. I was forced to pay 150 RM for 2 hours. Very bad system, very bad management.

Room size, location, breakfast and service. I was traveling with children and requested for a connecting room when I made the booking, the hotel wasn't aware - so, I presume they weren't informed by Booking.com. pls improve this.
