Maybe the bathroom is quite small and there is no microwave to heat the food. I mean they provide the fridge, so would be better if also have microwave to heat up the food. But overall this hostel is very recommended if you're looking for budget hostel.

Great facilities, aircon in dorms, beds with curtains, good lockers, good wifi. Possibility to rifill water, also boiling. Owner's son handles the Tourist info centre next door and can provide all kind of info. Great location too, close to train station and centre. N/A

The staff were super nice and friendly, attend to every needs! They didn't have a hair dryer at the first place, but then they somehow got me one. Great location and price. The door did not close during the day. Although the neighborhood seemed quite safe, it was not very comfortable for me.

Owner was very nice, provided earplugs because street was noisy at night. The hostel was being kept very clean. Good place to stay for 1- 3 nights. We got free soap and we could use a towel that was also provided. We got a small discount on our stay as well which was very nice! I would not recomment this hostel for solo travelers or if you are really looking for people to socialize with. It is mostly people staying for 1 night who go to Bromo that come here.

The area. The owner was very laid back. The bathroom area overlooking all the trees. Use of kitchen. Bed was comfortable (a big bonus) Could have some money spent on it such as electrical outlets. Has been mentioned by others but still not fixed,

The dorm smelled very nice and clean, AC was good, hot water in shower and free water/coffee/tea. Location is great! Near the station.

Central location, free water refill which I loved, use of kitchen & fridge, clean bathrooms and hot showers(!!), small common space to meet others, comfortable beds with AC, can choose from a big room with lots of beds or small rooms with just 4 beds some female only. Staff was so kind and helped me drop off my motorbike rental & took me to the train station for free :’) recommend in malang! Some of the outlets were combined with the light on the beds, so couldn’t charge your phone without the light being on as well which was a bit weird

The owner was great, the location is right in the heart of Malang, the air con is cool and it is clean. Water cooler, Hot water, tea and coffee and use of kitchen. Soap, towel and shampoo provided. Great place to eat right next door. Hot water :-) No toilet paper Can't seperate having your light on from the power as its same socket so if you are charging your phone, your light is also on.
