Our bedding was full of stains and there were hairs on the toilet seat and all over the shower. We did not understand why the hygiene rating was so high as our room obviously had not been cleaned. Moreover, the staff had no record of our booking (I think, they had some handwritten sheets and could not seem to find my name) and spoke basically no english.

The man at reception was very kind. Warning! If you are an unmarried couple they will refuse to let you stay here (had to provide marriage cert which we don't have). There is a note on booking.com which says this but it's not in a very obvious place.
