Pool was great. The garden was also very tidy. The staff was great. Small things not expected for this level: breakfast was very basic, no air conditioning in the hall (there was working fine in the room), one light not working, tv channels not set (staff set it up, but next day the same problem), noise from a terrace outside.

Breakfast was not up to the standards of a 5 star hotel, heating in the room was non existent although the outside temperature was already 10 degrees how, unhelpfull staff, room was poorly cleaned, and you have to pay for the coffee offered in the room :)

Remodeled hotel, tasteful design, large room, welcoming staff, excellent location, close to the private beach. The archeological site is a must see, unique experience. The accessibility for people with low mobility is quite poor. There are lots of stairs to reach the restaurant, the beach, the parking. And although this might be a conscious decision for the guest choosing to stay here, restricting easy access to food feels like a disadvantage. The hotel could improve on this aspect, to welcome all types of guests. The food was good, although quite standard, not quite the feel of a 5-star hotel. The bed mattress has a jumpy effect, which may not be suited for all types of guests.

Unfortunately, I felt the hotel was overpriced for what was offered. While the location and basic amenities were good, I expected more for the cost. The overall experience didn’t justify the high price tag. One major downside was that they didn’t provide much for our older son (16 y) even though he was considered an adult. The only option for him was wine ( at dinner), which seemed like an odd and limited offering. This lack of consideration for families or non-alcoholic drink preferences was disappointing. For the price, I expected a more comprehensive experience, especially in terms of offering more for families or guests who aren’t looking for wine as their only option. I would consider other hotels in the area that offer better value for money in the future.

This is our second time at this hotel and it was really nice to return. Room: spacious and clean. Perfect for a family of four. Food: all the meals are very tasteful, good diversity for lunch and dinner. Nice that this year it was offered a glass of wine at dinner. Very good coffee. Private beach: organized and good atmosphere. The staff there is really helpful. Parking: good private parking and supervised (requires an extra fee) Hotel: beautiful garden with a lot of flowers which makes your stay even more pleasant. Might be nice to add some possibilities for children activities or a playground in the garden. An evening with live music can also be a nice addition. The sun beds used in the pool area look nice but are not very comfortable. The gym area needs more attention. Only few of the training equipment was actually working.

I was in the entire hotel alone between January 1 and January 4, 2025. Breakfast was brought to my room. It was a bit strange but an interesting experience. The room had a sea view. It was so quiet in the morning that you couldn't miss the sunrise.

Our stay was just perfect. We had full board, the food was very tasty, fresh, good quality and diverse. The location is exceptional, very close to the beach, the swimming pool was very clean and just perfect. Even if most of the employees were from abrod they were very nice and friendly asking all the time if we need something else or if everything is ok. Nothing at all. Everything was more than we expected.

Food is okay and diverse. Cleaning okay. Close to the beach. Private beach is great because the beach around it is busy Nothing is free. Customers feel good when you give them something. Doesn’t have to be expensive.
-
Very nicely decorated and luxurious finishes. Balcony on the room was great, and dining facilities were also very nice to be at. Bed was comfy but the blanket provided was small. It didn’t cover my feet. Food isn’t bad but better can be had at some restaurants around town.

Excellent location and beautiful design I did not spend enough time to find any negatives

The grand sounding Deluxe Suite with Sea View, turned out to be a studio with a tiny bathroom, so tiny that there was no space to hang the hand towels. The only view there was, was the view of half the other rooms on the floor into our 'living room' space. The photos on booking suggested that both the bedroom and the living room have bright floor to ceiling windows with a balcony. In reality the bedroom had a small window facing a wall. When I questioned it, the receptionist told me that was how their junior suites looked like, leaving me with the impression that they had downgraded me from deluxe to junior without telling me. I was only there for a weekend, so the horrible room just spoiled the whole experience.

As a frequent traveler, I’ve stayed at many hotels, but my recent experience at hotel Belvedere was truly exceptional. The staff provided top-notch customer service, greeting me warmly and ensuring a seamless check-in process. Can t think of anything

Position Lack of staff experience

The location is good and the staff was very nice and accomodating. The room was big and the toiletries were high-end, and even if some were in bigger containers, they were full and didn't seem used. Filtered water was provided in nicely labelled glass bottles, a very good mix of premium and environmentally friendly at the same time as opposed to plastic bottled water you get elsewhere. Breakfast was very good for the low occupancy that was at the moment and the staff was constantly circling around to refill things. Somehow, the place manages to look modern and run-down at the same time. Dirty windows with calcium deposits from streaming water on them, a few different colours of mould in the shower, rubber seal on windows that provided debatable isolation, peeling wallpaper in the dining room (breakfast), the coffee machine with several warnings displayed, and I could go on :)

The hotel is quite good, well positioned and has very good facilities, such as the swimming pool and the private beach. It is also not very crowded, so it was not very busy at the pool, on the beach or when getting the meals. The included meals were ok and we found plenty to choose from. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The access for strollers could be better, it was a bit hard to carry the stroller up and down the stairs.

I stay at this hotel every time I come to the Romanian seaside. The staff are always friendly, the rooms and facilities are always clean and the food is great. We normally bring a hire car which we park in the hotel’s secure car park, which is very convenient.

Superb hotel. Very well managed. Very clean, the room was perfectly prepared with all amenities. The hotel has pool which must be the cleanest pool and pool area in have ever attended and the beach was very nice. Just steps away from the hotel and ran by the hotel. The food was also very tasty and diverse. A true 5* experience. Also, the parking is spacious and secure. There is nothing to dislike.
