Pacific Bay Grand Suites

The room was okay and slightly comfortable, good enough for a short visit. The room itself was okay, but the overall experience was highly disappointing. First, the staff felt unapproachable and unwelcome. Second, there were a lot of small cockroaches in the room. Inconvenient for my foreign companions. Third, there is zero communication among the staff. We were given conflicting rules about daily bottled water replenishment and had to buy our own outside. ​To make matters worse, after requesting a room cleaning, housekeeping only left 3 towels (1 big, 2 small). During checkout, they charged us 400 PHP for a "lost" towel, claiming the standard is 4. Since we were rushing to catch a plane, we paid it. But when I asked for an acknowledgment receipt, the receptionist shocked me by saying if he gave me the receipt, we wouldn't be eligible for a refund. Following up by phone was useless, as they claimed they didn't know their own housekeeping team's schedule. Very poor management and unprofessional service.

The view and location was wonderful It could be cleaner, black mold on the bathroom sink grout and silverfish type bugs in the bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom.

Over all except for the elevator is not too good it gives me dizzy The elevator

The rooms were spacious and the city views were beautiful. The staff were all helpful and nice. The kitchen was big and was equipped with everything needed to cook a meal. Good location just adjacent to Robinson's Manila and a short drive to MOA. Parking was limited. We had booked 6 rooms but only 3 spots were available for us.

The location was excellent for exploring Intramuros. The staff was friendly and helpful. Cockroaches! We complained about this and they said they would send someone up to spray the unit, but the cockroach problem never went away. This made it very difficult to relax in the unit as my eyes kept scanning for cockroaches. There were minimal dishes and cutlery for you to use and both the pot and pan were horribly scratched and unusable. So was the rice cooker. Everything was dirty, even the plastic draining rack. Even though you have a kitchenette, there's really no way that you could have cooked anything here. I would not stay here again.

I like about how near it is to all. The place looks good but there are some few things i saw I mean its all good but i think they didn’t clean it thoroughly because as we enter our room we saw some empty bottles and cans of beef, soft drink and water. Also the Bathroom has hairs.

First of all, it is located in an unsafe neighborhood with prostitution, vendors, loud music, garbage strewn on the streets. When we arrived from the airport, we found that the pictures in their ads did not in any way resemble the room that I paid for. I paid for a junior suite and was given a small, cramped, unairconditioned space with blighted views, not the bay view that was mentioned in their ads. We hired an experienced metered cab driver who had a very difficult time finding the address that was given. When we got there, the name Pacific Bay Grand Suites was not posted on the building. The other name there was Birch Tower. That was misleading on Google Maps and for the driver. Not mentioned until I got there, the hotel wanted a 2000-PhP deposit for any miscellaneous incidentals. We were given an electronic card and went up to a lower floor and were surprised that the room was not ready. The air conditioning was not on though they knew we were coming. Their outdated electrical system blew a fuse; the lights were completely dark. There's a good chance there is an overload on the system that has not been addressed on the electrical grid. The place smelled musty and mildewy. It was not clean as expected. There's also a good indication that the name is deceptive because it is not a regular hotel but is being used as an SRO (single room occupancy), mostly for transient single men. We had an uneasy feeling as we were approached inside the elevator but these types. I immediately requested another room but was told there were no rooms available. It left us no choice but to vacate the premise, having to spend more money to find better accommodations in Makati. This was one of the worst experiences I have had with the deceptiveness of both parties--Bookings.com and the management of the hotel. There was nothing to like. Deceptive advertisement. Place that was shown in the hotel advertisements was not the place that we received. Air conditioning did not work, room was small and musty, no view though we were led to believe there would be a bay view, electrical system was experiencing a brown-out and we were told there might be a complete blackout later. Neighborhood was risky.

Nice place and location though No parking so we need to pay parking at robinsons mall and also the under bed has old trash and it is dusty
