The walls were a bit thin, and we could hear the toilets of adjacent rooms

hard to describe this place - it is simply stunning!! The building itself with all the nooks and crannies, the gorgeous pool in the lush garden, the view over the old town...The fact that there is safe parking, which is actually not that hard to access (sometimes, a place will have parking, but it's tough to even get there). The staff were all outstanding, too. It's a bit more than I normally spend, but it was absolutely 100% worth it, and we got a much appreciated upgrade (which was great, bc the room we had booked would have been quite small for us and our two large suitcases. It seems like they give upgrades quite often, when they are available). I would have loved to stay there for longer!! There was nothing I didn't like, except maybe we would have had dinner there if they had a restaurant that serves evening meals (they do a nice breakfast buffet, and you can also order from a light lunch menu, which we didn't do). In my opinion, a restaurant isn't really needed as there is a number of places within easy walking distance. Just be aware that the location requires quite a few steps down to the old town and back up - if you are not reasonably mobile, this is probably not the best location for you!

We were offered a free upgrade which was much appreciated! Our room was easy to get to and had a balcony with a beautiful view on the charming old town below. Bed was very comfortable, large bathroom & shower was really nice, lots of hot water. Staff was very helpful regarding dining suggestions within walking distance. Breakfast was wonderful with many choices, by the poolside & exterior lounge areas.. Staff was very helpful with luggage & valet parking. We missed the hotel entrance driving up the steep access road & came back, but was a one way road! The road is narrow so there's not much space to unload luggage. Unfortunately the church facade that backs up on the pool was under restoration which disturbed the view slightly, but no fault to the hotel. It must certainly be beautiful once completed.

Our suite with a private terrace was very nice and plenty of space. The restaurant/bar staff were very attentive. Our host, Carlo, gave us excellent suggestions for the nearby beaches. The valet who parked our car was a welcome addition. Too many stairs!!! If you cannot manage 50 stairs you should stay elsewhere

This is a charming, beautiful hotel with a lot of character and history! We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the hotel itself which is full of curated corners complete with paintings, artful displays, and lovely furniture. In addition to the very inviting pool area there is also a lovely garden. We really appreciated that the hotel had its own dedicated parking area. That we were only able to spend 2 nights here!

The staff were attentive, the hotel is very clean, the pool was a nice bonus, and the breakfast was great. It was fine for us, but to note for people with any mobility issues; the hotel is located above the town centre, so it is a walk uphill with stairs.

All good!

The bed for 2 is incredibly small and uncomfortable.

Very nicely located near center. Staff was extremely helpful.

Location is the best in town. Really. Pool side looking at the town in the mountains was unbelievable. You feel lucky to be there. Nothing, was great!

Nice building and rooms. Staff very lovely and helpful. If you have a car proceed to the hotel entrance and they will help with parking in their free lot. Parking is very close but may be a little tricky to find. The pool was very nice, it was cold but nice for a quick dip

Location was fantastic, gorgeous views, quick walk into lovely historic center, and wonderful/helpful staff. The breakfast area and pool were first class, both food and view! Would have been good to have a heads up on where the parking was located - only a short walk from hotel, but located below hotel and with a late night arrival we missed it - the usual tight, winding roads made getting back to the parking lot a bit of an adventure. Great there is parking - just a heads up on how to access it directly would have been helpfu.
