Location is about a 5 minute walk to old town and about the same to the water. I asked for a quiet room and was given one. Paid parking at the hotel, by European standards, was roomy, though the garage was not full. I had a nice balcony on the 6th floor where I could get the door open and get some fresh air into the room. This room also had a split ac/heat unit individual to the room. Therefore, I could regulate the room's temperature according to MY comfort level, rather than the hotel's. At most hotels they give you a thermostat, but then restrict you to between 19-25 C. Not the Baviera. The bed was comfortable and the linen available was intelligent. Many hotels I have been to in southern Spain restrict you to a comforter with a duvet, and a bottom sheet. If that is too warm, and it was for me in many locations, you're out of luck. The Baviera gave me a light blanket with sheet (in addition to the bottom sheet on the mattress) and a bedspread. And, they offered several blankets in the closet. Again, smart. Let the guest decide what they need for a comfortable night. For the money, this is five stars. Nothing.
