The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and overall the resort felt very well run. It was the perfect spot for a quick beach getaway and definitely lived up to what we expected from a JW Marriott. We really enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again.

Pool and Ario Room was uncomfortable. The AC was Noisy and very old, the fridge very noisy and not cold enough, too. The ceilings were under repair. Not good at all. It was not fixed. Despite emails and asking for help.

Hotel was lovely and facilities fantastic l The room was in need of some maintenance, this was the most expensive hotel on our trip but the room did not reflect that.

One of the biggest frustrations was the beach service. Although the beach chairs were supposed to be available until 6:00 p.m., staff started removing umbrellas and chairs around 5:30 p.m., making it impossible to enjoy the beach until the stated closing time. The pool service also ended very early in the afternoon, around 3:00–4:00 p.m. It was also disappointing that guests had to pay extra for premium beach chairs closer to the water. After paying such a high nightly rate, charging additional fees for better seating felt unreasonable. On top of that, there was a daily resort fee of about $30, yet many amenities still required extra charges. Dining was another downside. Restaurant reservations were difficult to get, there were limited dining options, and several restaurants closed surprisingly early for a resort of this size. To make matters worse, having to pay extra for Wi-Fi at a hotel in this price range was unacceptable. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi should be a standard amenity at a luxury property. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the beach is gorgeous, but overall the experience did not match the premium price. We expected much better value and service from a JW Marriott. Unfortunately, we left feeling that the resort is significantly o

In general is a good stay but there a few cons, generally related with the staff. They are slow not very helpful young people mostly. The front desk. Laconic person speak very low plus the noisy lobby you can imagine. They didn’t explain how the self parking worked and we got stuck inside. The worst part was with the staff that manage the beach umbrellas and chairs. We stayed late in the water and when we got out all our stuff were places in the sand and the chairs were picked up, totally unexpected and not warned, my guess, due to some environmental non-sense, maybe related with the sea turtles. Humanity is obsessed with the damn turtles.

We had a wonderful stay overall at the JW Marriott Marco Island. The resort is beautiful, the beach is stunning, and the amenities were excellent. My wife especially enjoyed her spa experience, and we had a fantastic birthday dinner at Ario. The staff we encountered were friendly, and our family created many wonderful memories during our stay. The only disappointment was the lack of recognition for my wife's birthday. I noted the special occasion when making the reservation and also mentioned it again in person at check-in. Unfortunately, there was no birthday card, welcome note, or even a simple acknowledgment from the hotel. For a luxury resort of this caliber, I expected at least a small gesture to make the occasion feel special. It wasn't about receiving an expensive gift—it was about the thoughtfulness and attention to detail that guests associate with a premium hospitality experience. Despite that, we truly enjoyed our stay and appreciate the beautiful property and the memories we made as a family. I hope the hotel improves its communication and guest recognition for special occasions in the future.
