Tughan Hotel

I liked the location -- it was very cute, and was in a good location to be able to get the airport shuttle and go to the airport the next morning. It also was situated in a cute town and there were great spots to eat! Also, the calming music in the background of the hotel was great. Good views from the terrace and room too. There was very loud music playing right outside my window late into the night. I had to get up early the next morning and was hoping for a good night's rest, but could not go to sleep until late due to the noise. Also, the trashcan in the bathroom had not been emptied.

I was sceptical about the hotel after reading the reviews but I have to say that I had a comfortable stay overall. The staff were very helpful (especially Okan, the hotel manager and and the housekeeper), helping with our luggage and providing a kettle, cutlery, bowls and whatever else we needed. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Fresh towels were available when required. The location is ideal - right in the centre of the Old Town. There was live music every night until midnight, but that didn't bother us much as we stayed up late anyway. The decor could do with an update and there was no running water during the night on two nights which wasn't ideal.

Only positive thing I can stay the location is central within walking distance

Location is excellent, staff very helpful City view rooms overlook a restaurant which has late live music outside which finishes at midnight, then a lot of scrapping of chairs tidying up sometimes till 2:30 in the morning!!!!! It is separate from hotel so not their fault.

Location was perfect. They have nice view from the roof. The room was smelly and they never cleaned the room while our stay. Breakfast wasnt good at all.

Nice location. An older hotel in the heart of old town with a beautiful view of the plain below Mardin. The front desk was helpful and considerate, and helped me with airport transportation. Live music at night, perfect for some but a bit much for me. I stayed on a holiday weekend so that may have made a difference.

Nothing the pictures on Booking are not according to the reality Bathroom smell like sewige system door to the shower was broken, the bathroom îs full of dirty corners, we received a normal room instead of deluxe, there îs no scund insulation and we had to listei load music until 24:00 and after we listele to dogs barking all night long, instead of castel view we received cemetery view, breakfast terras îs dirty improper for food service

Very good location, right in the center of the old town. Castle style rooms with great interior. The breakfasts are quite basic and it gets pretty noisy in the evenings as there is a restaurant in the backyard with live music.

Dinner took 2 hours to be served.

Great location , friendly staff In the shower lot of dirt and a terrible smell of drainage. The cafe staff doesn’t speak English. They ordered not sharp food for about 30 minutes, and they brought still sharp.

The location was very comfortable to amenities. Easy to access the attraction I didn’t like the breakfast which is starting at 8.30 am and I went at 09.15 am it was nothing left even it was no bread no hot water for tea. Cleaning was not in higher standard. Room was very dusty bathroom was not clean. I only see house keeping cleaning the corridors and reception areas. I didn’t see anyone cleaning the rooms.

I didn’t like anything about the hotel. It was so dirty. I can describe how dirty breakfast area was. We left hotel without breakfast. Everything
