The location is remarkable — deep inside the medina, steps from the souks and Jemaa el-Fna, yet the riad itself is completely quiet. That contrast is exactly what you come to Marrakech for and Riad La Vie delivers it perfectly. The host and her entire team were outstanding. Genuinely warm, helpful, and attentive without being intrusive — the kind of hospitality that feels real rather than rehearsed. For travellers arriving from another country, the cleanliness and sense of safety throughout the property mattered enormously to us, and on both counts this place exceeded expectations. The room was comfortable and spotless. After several nights in the desert and long journeys from hot locations, the showers were exceptional — a small thing that made a big difference. Breakfast was excellent, and the seffa served during our stay was delicious. A quiet, genuine, beautifully run riad in the heart of the action. We would stay again without hesitation.

The location, the terrace, service was very good No cupboard, shower pressure was low, after rain there is a big puddle of water near the entrance of the riad, can get a little noisy.

Amazing location, staff were gracious and accommodating. Nothing

rooms are very small. If travelling with big suitcases, best to upgrade.

Riad la vie in stunning. We were greeted with some tea and cookies during check in. Our room was clean and comfortable. It is located in the Medina making it convenient to explore Marrakech. The staff were kind and very helpful, including providing wonderful recommendations for a nearby restaurant! We had a very brief stay of just one night, and had to leave early in the morning, but they were kind enough to pack us a bag of some snacks for our journey!

It is absolutely charming, a traditional Moroccan house. Although a street away from the souks, it was very quiet. The staff were excellent. We mostly dealt with Ayoub, who was lovely. Nothing

Beautiful Riad in the heart of Marrakesh. This is operated by a family with a focus on creating a luxurious environment. They use high quality linens, mattresses and towels. The breakfast was the best we had in Morocco. They sent someone to the square to greet us and be sure we got to the Riad. Even when we left at 3:30 am, they walked with us to be sure we found our way. Our room was next to the street, but they gave us a white noise machine for that. Our room was also called the Sultan because it had a king size bed and was just off the main area. It was worth the trade off.

Great location in a quiet derb, but close to the souks. Awesome view and relaxing rooftop vibe.

Unfortunately, this riad was not worth the stay. The room was dark and dreary with no opening window, and the air conditioning was extremely loud, making it impossible to sleep. Breakfast was very basic—literally just bread, butter, and yogurt—which was disappointing. The only positive was the staff, who were genuinely nice and welcoming. However, with so many better places nearby, I would not recommend staying here Unfortunately, this riad was not worth the stay. From the moment I was dropped off by the taxi, the staff was warm, welcoming, available for anything I needed and more than willing to make me feel comfortable. They truly want you to feel like you are home.

We were welcomed so warmly by Samira, the owner, with hot mint tea and made to feel so comfortable as if at home. The riad is beautiful as was our room and bathroom. We are so happy we stayed here for our first two nights in Morocco. Hisham and Ayoub were especially helpful, kind and generous with their services. Everyone is fluent in English as well. We greatly enjoyed getting to know them. We are so grateful especially to Ayoub who woke up very early during our last morning to prepare coffee and breakfast for us in time for our deptarture to catch a train. The breakfasts were lovely and satisfying. There were heaters on the partially covered terrace which was lovely and comfortable. We always felt like we were coming back to a safe place of friends and home when we returned from being out and about. We would not hesitate to stay at Riad La Vie again and recommend to friends. It would have been nice to have had a little more space in the room. We just had carryon luggage and still had to keep our clothes in the luggage on the floor. Otherwise everything was excellent!
