Great experience at a local B&B. The woman who runs it was so kind and told us all the great places to see in Marseille. Breakfast in the morning on the outdoor patio was amazing

A wonderful property at the perfect location, close to everything. We loved the art collection throughout the house, it created a special feeling. Someone had displayed so many beautiful paintings, sculptures and photos. Breakfast at the patio outside our room was enjoyable. The hostess had a very nice demeanour and made us feel very welcome. The key system was a little problematic at first , but eventually we got the hang of it.

Location was the only positive thing to be said about this place. The place was confusing, not matching the description of our booking and above all a word of advice, prepare to endure an overwhelming landlord. The only positive thing to be said is the location. But, upon walking the opposite side from the old port, we wish we had booked somewhere near the Major Cathedral.

You can easily hear what's going on in the rest of the house, and there are no "quiet hours", so a late party by the host or another guest can keep you up.

The hostess was great. Very hospitable and with care for her guests, she offered us a wonderful breakfast and multiple suggestions for sightseeing. The location is central to the touristic part of the port and we could reach by walking several places of interest as well as connections to public transport. There was a private parking of the establishment that solved the problem with our rental car (since it is impossible to park around there and the nearby parking was reported as unsafe) for 15 euros per day. At the time of our visit, a major renovation was taking place at the neighbouring building that made the access to the flat and the garage difficult. The immediate neighbourhood is not that appealing. Three of the rooms were on the first floor via a narrow staircase that may be problematic for heavy luggage or people with any kind of mobility issues.

The swimming pool was closed. The room was small with cheap decor and malfunctioning plumbing. The food in the restaurant was possibly the worst meal I have ever had. Absolutely disgusting.

The house is full of charm, The owner was very nice. She was very welcoming and helpful, There was a delicious breakfast, surtout la confiture, "Fait a la Maison" in the private courtyard.

Very spacious and quiet rooms. Location is perfect, very close to the old harbour of Marseille. The B&B is hidden in a small street but once you enter it is very quiet.

The host was very helpful and carried our luggage to the room. It was close to the port. She had ample parking. Breakfast was set up outside, which was very nice each morning. It was difficult to drive down the street. The streets are very narrow and I’m not sure if it was in the best section of town. The Wi-Fi was very hard to get in our room so we would have to sit outside or in the family room to get it. We were upstairs and maybe that was the problem.

Superb

The accommodation is an oasis of quiet tranquillity in the hustle and bustle of Marseille - hidden away, it is a real gem. The room was spacious and comfortable and beautifully 'dressed'. We found the room a little difficult to find on arrival. We could have done with a teaspoon and perhaps more than 1 tea bag,
