Absolutely loved the amenities, bathrobes and washing detergent were so handy and made us super comfortable. Was a 5 minute walk from the main train station which was very convenient. Bit of commotion in the hallway at 4 am, could hear everything and people were loud.

Big room, thankfully had aircon! Unfortunately, this stay was very disappointing. The toilet was broken for almost our entire four-night stay and wasn't repaired until our last night. Despite reporting the issue, we weren't offered a different room or any compensation. As a result, we had to plan our days around finding cafés and restaurants where we could use the bathroom, which had a major impact on our experience in Marseille. The shower also drained very slowly and frequently flooded the bathroom. On top of that, the accommodation was difficult to find as it's located in a residential area, and the entry door codes were unreliable, making access more frustrating than it should have been. Overall, the lack of prompt maintenance and support meant we couldn't enjoy our stay, and I wouldn't recommend this accommodation unless these issues are addressed.

The door to the room leaves a little to be desired in terms of security.

The room itself is very dreamy. Super comfortable bed and immaculately clean. I stay in a room with the tub and aside from other reviewers I had hot water to fill the tub all a way. The check in with the host was straight and clear. Location. Apparently this location near the train station is not very safe due to drugs trafficking and consumption. I reserved this room not aware of this. I booked looking for something near the train station since I was traveling thru France for the whole month of Sept. The place is very hard to find since there is no sign or any indication of the place. A gentleman that was getting in the building actually helped in. Shortly after I took a cab and was informed by the driver of the neighborhood. I walked all around the main attractions in Marseille and at night on the way back I took a cab and asked the driver to wait for me to get inside.

The interior of the room itself was very nice. Nice a/c. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Wow - very sketchy neighborhood- inside front door still unsettling- stairway to room is dirty and rather bleak. Linens were rough and pillows were lumpy.

We had not received the access code for the front door and when we got to the place I called the telephone number but the person who answered did not speak much French and only said I had to use that code ( I did get that two days later). Si we just left to find another place.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. It’s different, not a hotel vibe. It’s fine but just don’t expect a lobby or anyone there to check you in or answer questions.

The room was lovely The hallway was shockingly decrepit. No idea you had to carry luggage up a flight of staira.

It was near the station but not in a nice area. Locality meant we were uncomfortable about going out after dark, made worse because we couldn't access English language TV. Entrance door and stairway seedy. No staff and not a hotel in our book.
