The hotel has the charm of what was once an elegant aristocratic villa, but unfortunately now it seems there is need for renovation and better maintenance. The small wardrobes in the room had an unpleasant smell - I had to leave my clothes in the luggage and the overall cleanliness was below expectations. Limited selection for breakfast and one morning there were not enough tables, so we had to wait to be seated. Some items, such as croissants ran out for 2 consecutive days. I asked for a mosquito repellant plug-in device for the room, but I was told they didn't have any more and it was never provided. Considering how inexpensive and easy they are to obtain, the lack of attention to guests was disappointing.

It was once a five star. It really needs renovations! You can see it was once a very nice hotel.

Beautiful, secluded, but close to many wonderful historic towns. Staff was amazing. Super attentive and upbeat.

Very comfortable and clean

Beautiful, well landscaped, great pool, everything in excellent shape ?

The property is on a large park with many old trees. There is quiet and good air. There were ample parking spaces in front of the hotel. The staff at the hotel were friendly and courteous. We like the fact that there are two restaurants on the property: on is a Michelin one starred restaurant which offers fine dining (expensive) but probably very good and one trattoria style restaurant where we had dinner. The breakfast had a little bit limited choices but the products were fresh and of good quality Some of the facilities in the room, especially the shower facility, need some upgrade.

The grounds are beautiful, the suite we stayed at was spacious with own balcony, large bathroom, tall ceilings. Breakfast was OK. There is a private parking and two restaurants on the property grounds. The bathroom door opens right onto the toilet, there is no light in the bath itself, the pillow choices are limited for this level of property.

The location was beautiful. The grounds were immaculately maintained. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. You could tell the staff took great pride in their work. We loved spending our time at the pool. This was a great place for relaxing. Also, even though it has a remote feel, it is very close to the town of Martina Franca. We struggled with not having Wi-Fi in our rooms. We could get service on the grounds but not in our room. This was inconvenient and surprising given the cost of the accommodations.

It’s beautiful , very comfortable and the restaurants Bros Trattoria is great. The restaurant hostess is the best ! We couldn’t reach front desk when we realized we didn’t have shower body soap neither conditioner.

Lovely staff. Awesome food! Excellent trattoria. Best bread ever! Main building was lovely but the other building needed a little updating.

The Relais has the feel of a resort in the country, but it's located just a five-minute drive from the city. The atmosphere is relaxed and VERY friendly, the service was terrific, and the restaurant ON THE PROPERTY serves the best food in town. There's a pool (which we did not use) and some lovely areas indoors and out for relaxing or reading. When we made the reservations, we were a little concerned that we might feel a bit isolated.... that the location would be inconvenient. We were wrong, wrong, wrong. If you have a car, this is the place to stay. BTW: The staff was as good as it gets: very friendly, very smart, very helpful. We have not a single complaint.

Every thing The showers in the spa were horrible

This place is a destination unto itself. Beautiful buildings and grounds, perfect for a romantic getaway. Unfortunately we were only there for one night. Excellent breakfast in a stunning setting. Staff were very accommodating. We had a group dinner there, which was excellent in a charmingly rustic setting.

The pool was just so beautiful. The staff without exception were kind, helpful and always smiling. Special praise for Alessandro and Sophia on reception that were just so nice and polite. All the breakfast room staff were talkative and looked happy which helps the day start in a good way. Everything was perfect. Maybe the cushions on the terrace looked a bit drab.

I went here with 10 friends to celebrate my 50th birthday and it didn't disappoint. The staff were friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. The rooms were lovely and clean and the pool was amazing. The only thing I would say was that the 3 restaurants were not all open when we went as it was considered out of season. We travelled at the end of June so I didn't think that would be classed as out of season. So its worth checking when you book whether they were open. We ended up going in to the local town all 3 nights to eat instead and there is plenty of choice of great restaurants there so it wasn't a problem in the end really.
