No coffee maker in room unless you ask for it

The staff is very friendly! They noticed we didn’t make breakfast and saved us fruit and cornetti for later. Bed was too firm. Wished it was a shorter walk to city center.

This hotel is in a fantastic position to explore Martina Franca. It is literally a ten minute walk along pavements to the historic centre. Really good town to base yourselves in. It has a big historic centre and several other interesting roads. We spent one whole day exploring it and it was so easy to pop back to the hotel. Slightly annoying that they still have a siesta in southern Italy! Big room with a comfy bed and a large balcony. A bath with a shower, all very clean. Plenty of room to hang clothes. Huge swimming pool but, unfortunately, at this time of year it didn't catch any sun on it so we didn't actually use it. Plenty of parking space. Very quiet one night but the other nights touring coaches arrived from Bulgaria and Spain which livened it up. This did not affect our stay negatively at all. The dining room has plenty of room for everyone and the staff really looked after us. We ate in the hotel on two occasions. The three course menu is very reasonable and the wine is local and cheap! We enjoyed the local food and wine. We liked everything, no complaints at all.

Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff were much appreciated. Easy secure parking.

Able to get bus to the town and walk to hotel, with backpacks, probably 20min walk. Breakfast was adequate. Dinner set menu disappointing for vegetarian, we were not able to order from the other side of menu presented with that days date, not sure why, language barrier, but thought should give suggestion of green beans and pasta a go, which was very nice, overall the three course meal and service was below our expectations. Pool was nice although busy with families as open to non residents of hotel. Service for drinks and snacks at pool during day limited but nice, staff at pool happy to provide sun beds and towels. Receptionists all very helpful and pleasant, helped us arrange local taxi. Could have had a better service in restaurant, food in main course not eaten, no alternative offered. First course suggested by waiter, very nice though. Pudding nice but small. Went to bed feeling a little disappointed and wishing had gone out for a pizza! Unable to find drinks in hotel, no kettle in room. Bar looked abandoned- hung around for a while hoping to get a drink but no one around, had to ask reception to provide some water for room so as not to dehydrate in 30 degree heat! The only other way to get a drink would have been to walk to pool in daytime or a shop, in the evening not sure how to get a drink either so only had our two bottles of water. Water in taps warm. Hotel feels old fashioned a bit tired and dated.

Old furniture and bath curtain.

Friendly staff, nice location and pool access, which is a rarity while travelling around Puglia. Hotel is a bit dated with old rooms & bedding from 1970s.

Big hotel close to the railway station, convenient if you’re using public transport to get around. The rooms have balconies and the location is green and quiet. Staff are friendly and helpful. The balcony lights stay on at night, making it a bit difficult to sleep with the windows open, not impossible, but would be better to be able to switch that light off. Or maybe the switch was very well hidden.
