Great Cedar Hotel at Foxwoods

We checked in to be told there was a wait on our nonsmoking room and would be notified by text when ready. 5:15 no text. Had to stand in line to be told they didn’t have any more non smoking rooms and could give us a smoking room. No curtiosy call telling us that. Asked for another hotel and they couldn’t accommodate so we had to take that as we drive hours to stay. The rooms were gross and muggy and we had a hard time breathing as 2 of us have asthma. Never again will we stay there.

Since check in is 5:00pm, there were only two people on the front desk. We got there at 5:15 and we waited for 30 minutes before we got to the desk. When I booked the room 2 months ago, I requested a non-smoking room. However when I checked in I was told they only had smoking rooms available! I explained that I requested a nonsmoking room and she responded that there were none available. The room stunk of cigarettes and the spray they used to disguise the smell was just as bad as the cigarette smell. Thank goodness we just stayed one night.

Customer Service Satisfaction

The other issue for us and I'm sure many others was the difficulty finding our way around It's such a large and complicated space. Perhaps better signage would help, like a "you are here" map at each intersection showing that location. We came to hear Josh Groban, and he was fantastic, such a great concert (once we found the theater).

Big room, comfortable bed. Everything we needed was there. As far as eating is concerned, unless you are willing to drop $200 plus for dinner for 2, forget Foxwoods. Most of the restaurants are mediocre at best with friendly but flakey service. We went for a show, not to gamble.

It was🔥. The first room was very comfortable and quiet.tje hot tub is a plus. The second room was very nice and comfortable and also very quiet and relaxing 😌 😌😌.

Excellent restaurants and food choices just a short walk from the elevators. Ongoing renovations are upgrading the overall look of Foxwoods (very nice ! ) and having Tangers outlet stores on site makes for a great experience .

Overbooked the hotel paid for a king deluxe room. Did not accommodate gave us a room with 2 beds. Drive 2 hours and staff was useless.

They have everything you need … you don’t have to leave the building… I had an amazing time , looking forward to going back again soon 👍😁

Very nice stay. Clean room. I wish they would have offered a special offer when I told them I was there for my 10 year anniversary, maybe complimentary drink or something. Other then that it all good. We enjoyed ourselves

Everything was as expected plus, great stay.

The staff and room were wonderful. My only complaint was there was not valet parking at the Cedars Hotel. We had to valet park at another hotel and grab a shuttle bus to our hotel with all of our luggage. Leaving they did bring the car to our hotel so that was hood

Plenty of shopping and amenities. Bowling was fun. Went to the Beford (Martha Stewart’s) for drinks with our group and had the bread Bowl delish. Ate dinner at Alta Strada (Italian) delicious. Won playing the slots and Black Jack. Next morning went to Bingo. Everything was perfect Room Staff and Casino.

It was very noisy all night long. Shower difficult to use. Only one regular coffee pod in the room.

The newly renovated room was beautiful. I love the complimentary upgrade and enjoyed my stay.
