Best Western Mason Inn

Not a bad hotel for the price. I would've given it five stars, but I had requested a late checkout in the evening, but that wasn't communicated to the day staff so I had three people banging on my door at 11 AM. Other than that, it was quite pleasant.

Nice location, clean, edible breakfast. My only wish is if they had an area for smokers outside. I have no problem smoking away from others. But have at least one ashtray for the customers who smoke outside. I pick up my butts but others don’t.

The staff was very nice at Best Western Mason. Unfortunately, the drain in our bath tub was clogged and held water. The front desk staff changed us to another room without any problems. The new room was clean but there was a hole in the wall where the door handle hit under the wall protector. I was not a fan of the small shower/toilet area. The pool and hot tub are smaller than they appear in the photos. The breakfast had eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit, and other bread options. The food was fine overall. The location to Kings Island is about a 9 minute drive.

Our room was fine. The room was clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable. The price was reasonable. I would definitely stay there again.

The location is great! Lots of restaurants in walking distance and close to the airport. I had a nice little balcony in my room, too!

Newly redecorated rooms and decent breakfast! Lots of variety in foods to eat at breakfast buffet.

Our room was very clean. Bedding smelled fresh and clean. The towel rack came off the wall on one end but was not a major issue. I let the staff know and we're going to fix it the next day as it was later in the evening. Shower had great water pressure. The room stayed a little warm even with AC on. The pool was NOT heated but again not the end of the world. Breakfast had a great variety of choices, from cold cereal to hot waffles, eggs and sausage. Coffee was hot, fresh and delicious. The staff were so nice and helpful, one of the ladies came right to our room immediately to help us with the TV. All in all a nice and clean place to stay. Would stay again for sure

Things falling apart in the room ..

Nice breakfast and front desk staff was very polite and helpful. The bathroom in the room was very dated, but it was clean.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The young woman who checked us in was very friendly and the young man who was serving the breakfast was also very polite and friendly. He asked how the food was and if we needed anything. Very nice! My only negative was that I was on the first floor and there was a flood light next to my window so the room wasn’t as dark as I’d like. I would stay here again though.

Hotel, staff and room were fine. Breakfast was just ok.

Location Dirty, small rooms, old beds. Chlorine in pool was overwhelming, you could not sit in there to watch your children play without burning your eyes.

The breakfast wasn't much better, was just a carb and sugar fest.
