The building was nice with a lovely garden where you could spend some time. Staff were helpful and the hotel had some deals with local restaurants for dinner.

Parking: they have private parking but when we came it was "full" even that I would still easily park there two cars more. I recommend to contact the hotel upfront and book a place on private parking, otherwise you will have to park on the street in front of the hotel.

Very nice, helpful owners. Interesting breakfast ordering system. Very tasty breakfasts, a large selection of sweet and savory things. A villa estate, peace, quiet and a beautiful view of the mountains. Distance to the sea and therefore to the center of Marina di Massa about 700-850 km (about 7-10 minutes in a quick step). Possibility to rent bicycles, artfully decorated garden. Very small rooms, even for two people, furnished a bit in an archaic style.

Beautiful location, very close to the sea and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Very friendly, flexible and uncomplicated owners - we felt very welcome. The way to the beach is a bit long for walking but still ok.

After several visits to Italy, I would not describe Massa and its surroundings as a direct tourist destination. The advantage was that we did not meet tourists at every turn and we heard mainly Italian :-) Unfortunately the restaurants are mainly with fish and sea products. Typical Italian dishes without shrimps and mussels were really hard to find on the menus of local restaurants. Beaches clean without endless rows of umbrellas like in regular resorts. The beaches were not even crowded with people, which we appreciated during our vacation. In addition, the view of the mountains from the sea was spectacular. We recommend the destination especially for those who are looking for relaxation with the possibility of good coffee, Italian ice cream without the crowded center of tourists. We would appreciate options to order more than one mini butter per person :-) However, the staff was very nice and it was no problem to get anything extra.

The hostess was amazing and super helpful. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and to help us having a great time in Massa.

The family running the hotel were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Always available and happy to help. The hotel has a wonderful garden with a trampoline, kids bikes, ping pong table and relax lounge. Breakfast was superb! We also got a list of restaurants that gave us a discount because we stayed at this hotel. Very much appreciated! We loved our stay here and even came back for an extra night before continuing our trip.
