Everything was fantastic! The location is right in the middle of the city and so easy to explore the sites. The owner helped with a parking garage near by to make sure when we arrived we had no problem with parking! The house has room and is flexible for a family to enjoy the stay. Nothing

Clean, nice welcoming hosts that took time to explain things and help, excellent location, excellent AC and WiFi, bed and shower were good. I loved the balcony overlooking the sassi, thank you! The breakfast had a lovely assortment of cakes but not very healthy options to choose from. Parking was available but I opted to park on the street and the host helped me to get an app which made it easy to make adjustments to the time without having to go back to the car. The recommended lot was about 25 euros a night

The smell of old home like a regiment or old hospital setting. Also I am not sure how much the going rate for that area is but I thought the room was expensive $400 euros for one night, a room that was very old. I think $250 would have been ore appropriate.

Great location and views from our room, communication from host was excellent and the breakfast was lovely. We could hear live saxophone music in the square every evening. The air conditioning unit wasn’t functioning very well.

Wonderful location, we had a chance to meet most of the family running the place. Great hospitality and delicious truly Italian breakfast buffet !! If you are coming by car, they can make you a permit to access the ZTL - Limited Traffic Zone, to get really close to the property and drop your suitcases.

nothing, loved everything about it

Location was amazing. Right in the center and a short walk from the parking garage. Owners were extremely kind and accommodating. Spacious. Not a good fit for a larger group. We were a family of 7 people that needed 3 rooms. One of the rooms was within the main building but up some stairs. The other room was in a different building a short distance away, down more steps, but the third apartment required us to walk down quite a few steps that were slippery and with heavy luggage, quite dangerous. The owner initially told us that we needed to carry our own luggage to our rooms, which I refuse to do because even without the luggage, I slipped a few times so she ended up calling her son who brought our bags to us. The rooms themselves were pretty dated, with mis-matched furnishings although our apartment was very large. Breakfast was pretty basic.

Parking situation not the best.

Everything! Nothing!

Breakfast was served in a very lovely way including local jam and fresh cakes.

We were very surprised that our room had a nice terrace with a great view, and that the room was quite cozy and quaint! Another very good thing, the breakfast. Quite a few things were homemade by the mother of Erasmo and Raffaelle. Everyone was really very nice and we felt very welcomed. We also really liked the location, since it is super close to one of the main squares but our room was in a more quite little street, so there was no noise that would really bother us. The only thing that we think that could be better would be the beds, mostly the mattresses. Other than that, all good :)

The staff were very helpful and courteous. The views from our room were amazing and the location was ideal. Communication prior to our stay was excellent. The breakfast was delicious. The bathroom was a little small.

Friendly owners and family-type atmosphere. Great location. Nothing not to like….!

We took over the house, it was fantastic. Nothing.

An old world feel but very clean, bright and comfortable. The room with the terrace to ourselves was so worth it. All we could hear were birds and church bells. No traffic noise. Like stepping back in time. Everything was excellent

What a brilliant setting, host family and breakfast! We were a family of 4 and our room was stunning, bright, spacious, convenient and comfortable. Erasmo’s jovial nature and sincere passion for hospitality and enthusiasm and pride for his hometown utterly ensures a positive experience here in Matera. Not a thing.

Erasmo was super helpful and excited to share the history and must see sites in Matera. The location was perfect and the room was lovely with attention to detail and a terrace that we enjoyed in the morning and evening.
