Very good location which is near to dogo onsen I think the villa needs renovation

Very close to Dogo Onsen bathhouse and tram station. Well ventilated. Provides items needed for bathhouse. Very comfortable bed. No social vibe. It's a place to sleep. Hot water fir the shower must be requested, so use the bathhouse for bathing.

I stayed here when I was on a cycling trip. I booked last minute and the owners were very kind and welcoming, despite arriving late in the day. The owner even drove me into town for a meal because everywhere in the area was closed. He was such a kind soul and I loved viewing his photographs on when he travelled to Morocco and Barcelona (Monsterrat). The owners made me a delicious miso soup for breakfast in the morning. The room was very comfortable. Japanese style beds on the floor. The bathroom was very clean with hot water. This is a 3 minute walk from Doggo Onsen. The owners provide everything you need to go there (robe, towel, slippers) I would recommend anyone who wants an authentic Japanese experience to stay here. I felt incredibly welcomed by the kind owners. It is ideal of cyclists, with a place to store my bike.

This is a small, aging inn located in the Dogo area. If want to stay in a nice place, this isn't it, but the rooms are fine for sleeping and it's far less expensive than the surrounding hotels. The location is excellent and the older couple that runs the inn are very kind and helpful.

Staff was super friendly, recommended nearby onsen, that was unfortunately full while we were there. Decent sized room, not much to it but nice Decently comfy futon beds Really nice area, a bit far from anything but we loved the town Water had a weird taste, couldn't drink the tea because of it. Bummed that we couldn't go to the onsen that was tattoo friendly and the entire reason of staying there, but that wasn't the hotels fault, still a nice stay. Bit far from any vegan food, not much in matsuyama anyway

Location is good, 3 mins walk to tram station The cleanliness is not too good such as towels , carpet etc.

The owner kindly recommended a place to go for dinner and showed us where it was on a map, explained how to buy tickets for Dogo Onsen and prepared a very Japanese style breakfast for us. A great experience to stay in a Japanese style inn

It is a reasonable priced retro-style Japanese business hotel. It is right next to Dogo-onsen which is the main attraction of the area. Due to the nearby Dogo-onsen, it is necessary to ring the front desk for hot water if you want to take a shower or bath in your room.

Nice personal, clean room with castle view, 1 min from onsens away. You become a free kimono for onsens. For this price it’s very good! Thank you!

I think it is run by a man who travels himself, there are many pictures on the walls, and souvernirs. And it certainly has such vibe. It provided Yukata and basic amenities and location was good. Although the place is rather old.

Basic accommodation - fine for two guys. Very central to restaurants, bars and onsen. Hostest was very helpful. Recommended. An elevator to 4th floor.?

Excellent location. Short walk to the three hot springs. Very nice host. The Japanese room was very comfortable. Staircase is a bit steep and narrow. Not a problem though.
