This traditional 4-star hotel is only a 5-minute walk away from the center of Mayrhofen, and a 10-minute walk from the cable cars. A ski bus stop is right outside. The spacious rooms at Hotel Rose have a flat-screen cable TV, a safe, and a bathroom. Hotel Rose's fully-new spa area includes a Finnish old-wood sauna, bio-Swiss sauna, aroma steam bath, Raindance massage showers, ice fountain, relaxation rooms with cozy snuggle bunks, Ergo Relax Lounge infrared loungers, Nestschaukel, tea-vitamin bar, Note: Naked area, 16 years old and above .There is also a fitness area and a table tennis room. In the morning a rich breakfast buffet is served. In the evening the restaurant offers various themed evenings, such as a farmers’ buffet, an Italian buffet, or an elegant gala dinner. The garden has a big sunbathing lawn. Free private parking is available on site. An underground car park is available at an additional cost.

The bedroom was comfortable with an ensuite shower which was excellent and produced hot water when needed after a hard day skiing. Breakfast was excellent with a very wide choice and they had a chef cooking eggs etc to order. The coffee was also excellent though any thing would be given I drink instant normally. Although on half board we opted to eat in on some nights for a guest discounted price of euro 25 per head. A three course meal, sometimes a theme night and sometimes a buffet. All very good, especially the buffet. Skis can be hired from Greenroom, just 100yds away and 15% discount for guests. A little far to the lift (10m walk) however I'm used to skiing to the door. Charging for coffee outside of breakfast hours. No kettle in room.

Great food, lovely room, warm welcome, great hospitality. An extended time window for dinner would have been more convenient; although I appreciate the need for hotel to get everyone seated and to manage kitchen and staffing.

I had a suite room and the staff are sitting and smoking under the terrace, you can't open the window because of the smell of cigarettes. We had full board and the dinner is very modest, I think it is overrated...
