Sama Almisk Hotel

I stay 9 days, but without calling they don't come to clean the room. Sometimes there is a long wait for the lift. People are fighting to get on the shuttle, which is very irritating for women. The driver should wait at the door and give women entry first.

There was nothing special about this hotel at all. The only one positive thing could be that they have plenty of wheelchairs for sick and elderly people but all the hotels provide wheelchairs as well. The rooms were so smelly and the bathroom was literally dirty they didn't even clean the toilet properly besides that there was lots of rust in the toilet paper holder and the shower place was very poor also the sink was dirty. The fridge was smelly like there was something rotten inside before we arrive so we couldn't use it immediately. The corridors were smelly all the time, either smells very cheap detergents or smells really bad. We also booked 4 beds room but they gave us 5 beds room because there was actually no 4 beds room booked for us! They let us watch another 2 rooms before we decide to take the room and they were just worse so it needed up taking that smelly room because we were super exhausted and no time to change the hotel. Also the AC was not working properly either it's freezing or it's very hot. Also the mini supermarket they have downstairs he simply robbed us because my husband doesn't speak or understand Arabic so he charged him double!

Value for money is reasonable My reservation was 3 quadruple rooms The hotel gave us 2 fifth rooms and 1 triple room No housekeeping until you ask & the just give you tissues Asked for the invoice no response

Cleanliness

This hotel is exactly as described, has restaurants around the property. There is a gorcery store located within the hotel. The paid massage chairs were a highlight and completely worth it for relaxation after a tiring day. Although the location is further away from the Haram,they provide free bus service continuously throughout the day and night to and return from the Haram The only minor drawback is that lifts can be an issue when the hotel is fully booked, requiring a wait during peak times

They provide free shuttles to haram and back all the time. The receptionist was also friendly, he charged my power bank for me. It’s walking distance to haram, but expect 25-30 mins walk. Room facilities are good Kettle is there, but no tea bag or coffee powder
