One of the best hotel stays we’ve ever had!

Baked Potatoes are a must for Vegetarians! You should serve them every day and not just on select days.

Additionally the convenience store area was well stocked with some great options, the pool was really nice and it was a great place to call home for a week! We even used the grills outside one evening, saw a launch, and just had a really nice time. 10/10 would recommend!

I loved the room. The room was so clean and smelled fresh. The fact they have a market in the hotel as well was a plus. My main this was the fact the Publix or any other store was right across from us.

On July 11, 2026 Saturday, around 8:30 PM, I checked in to The Residence Inn on South Babcock, Melbourne Fl. I was given the key to room 314. Shortly after I entered the room a woman started pounding on my door yelling repeatedly “Open the door, help me, let me in!!!!” I shouted out that I could not do that; but I would call the front desk and tell them what was happening. I thought of calling 911; but instead I called the woman at the front desk who said that she would send someone up to check on what was happening. Well, no one came to the floor. No one checked to see if I was alright. I opened my door and saw across from me their door was open; and I asked the lady standing there if she was banging on my door; and she denied it. So I called the front desk again and told the woman that I did not feel safe in my room; and, requested a room change to the first floor where if necessary I could run out to the front desk. Luckily my room was close to the elevator so that I could rush down; because it felt like someone was following me…. I spent the night in room 107; but was very anxious about what had happened with no explanation. Someone could have noted that I was a woman staying alone. I had a family member at Holmes Hospital in Cardiac ICU; hence staying close by overnight. So I was now double stressed!!! In the morning upon checking out, I explained to the woman at the front desk what had happened and that no one came up to check on what was happening or if I was all right. And that I had planned to stay another night but was too scared. She said that she would report it to the manager who was coming in 30 minutes. Well no one called me or followed up with me to further discuss what had happened. I had to get to the Hospital CICU for my family member or I would have reported it to the police. Which I may still report the incident to the police once my family member is stable at the hospital.

This was a great stay! Hotel and facilities are in excellent condition and very clean. The best was the friendly and professional staff… we will stay again in this hotel!

They were doing some major carpet cleaning before our arrival Unfortunately, the fifth floor smelled like sour milk had been spilled, smelled absolutely horrible. Luckily, the smell was not noticeable in our room #501. I reported this nasty smell to the front desk.
