Good location. Easy walking distance to Southern Cross Station with tram stops nearby too. Plenty of eateries around too. Rooms could do with soundproofing as could hear the plumbing from the next room.

Close to mid town, stations and car park. Reasonable priced car park (Pre-booked). Comfy beds, nice towels and good shower. Very friendly staff too. Nothing - maybe a fan in the bathroom would be handy

We have stayed here many times before and choose it because of its great location. It is close to trams and Flinders St station so it is very easy to get around the city. Burke St mall is a short walk away as well. It has good blackout curtains and is usually fairly quiet Our trip this time was for four nights. Check in was unusually slow, not sure if it was a new staff member. After the first night we left at 8am and returned at 10 that night to find the room had not been made up despite the correct sign being placed on the door. When we tried to report it the next morning, even though there were two staff members at the desk, one totally ignored us while the other spent well over five minutes explaining the trams in Melbourne. We didn’t have a problem with that, it was totally being ignored by the other staff member that was the problem. On the last morning, at 9am, there was a knock on the door. We called out that we were still in the room but a key was inserted and started to turn. As I had just stepped out of the shower this was not ideal so I yelled out, it is only 9 o’clock we are still here. I then heard a voice say sorry but it meant we then felt we needed to really hurry to get out

Very spacious and cozy with all round good heating Size variety of pots and pans were limiting for bigger groups but still easily manageable
