The property allowed baggage storage prior to the room being available. They did say the would text us when the room was ready but didn't.

Good location with easy access to public transport. Glad it was the middle of winter. Rooms were very hot after a 15degree sunny day even with air con turned down!! Little unpleasant

Location was great. There was actually no windows that I could open. And, there was no clothes rack to dry them off. Although there is a string that I could use in the bathroom, but, it was not a great one to dry them while showering. The shower door was not well design. When taking a shower, the water just came out and wet the floor.

location was good

The only criticism I could make is that finding it to begin with was a little challenging. The front door and the way to find the reception desk was difficult and I wish the signage was a little clearer.

Great location, close walk to Southern Cross stations and many trams close by as well. All amenities included such as washing machine with powder, tea/coffee, new kitchen sponge, and big fridge/freezer The apartment was clean but the kitchen had food on the floor. We were not comfortable with the security of the hotel. The apartment is located at the Mantra hotel, and we only had a code (no key card) to enter the room which was the same code to enter the hotel after hours and the gym! The room door didn’t have a door chain as well so we didn’t feel secure at all. There is also no need to use a key card for the elevator so anyone can enter any floor they want.

Great Location, Large room and very clean. Amazing shower pressure. Quiet - cannot hear street noise. good views of city buildings Staff were very friendly and helpful when it came to parking and picking up the room key- went above and beyond 2 single beds pushed together do not make up a King bed - need to actually have King or Queen size bed in room. So annoying to fall between the gap in the mattresses.

Room was well set out with plenty of space . Nicely located to central Melbourne. Nice to have a washing machine but instructions would be good. I had to go upstairs to reception to get them to print out the instructions. Wifi instructions were not totally clear. Had to get reception to come and hook us up. We are fairly good with technology but could not work it out. Remote for small bedroom tv had batteries that were held in by sellotape and were nearly dead. Had to ask reception to get someone to come and clean the inside and outside of the bottom of the glass door on the shower as green and black mould growing. Came back to a really strong smell of chlorine but shower the same. Strong smell of fat or oil cooking in the evenings. Not sure where that was coming from. Room was too hot but could not adjust the temperature control. Had to wash dome dishes before using them.

The strategic location and the spacious room amenities Nothing
-
The location. It is located in the heart of the CBD. There was no garbage collection.
-
I liked the location. It was near tram line and easy walk to restaurants None

The room was spacious and clean. Location was great as it was a short walk to the city centre and many restaurant options. Reception were friendly and helpful when they were there and we were able to store our bags after checking out. It was a little strange as the reception was located in a room on an elevated floor. We needed to walk through the lobby of another hotel and make our way up to find the reception on the 8th floor and down a long corridor. Reception was only available until 6pm, after which there was no one on sight to handle problems. We had an issue with the air conditioning as the room we were first put in did not allow us to adjust the theromostat. This was a problem as it was set very cold for a Melbourne autumn night. Needed to contact the after hours number and try out several different rooms to find one that was heated adequately. Eventually we made do with an extra portable heater in the room. It seems the thermostat was not adjustable in any rooms.

Second time stayed here hence we like it just for a night Same as the second time stayed in this property, the couch way to small and deep, my wife hardly can't get up from the couch and the bed, my wife told me, it's a bit hard.
-
I like to location of the hotel. The couch is small and the bed was a bit hard.
-
Beautifully appointed room with all the comforts of home. The property was well situated to restaurants, coffee shops and sites easily accessible within walking distance. We will look for this brand of hotels whenever we travel, now-our experience was that positive.
-
Location great. Easy to get around.Plenty of restaurants nearby
-
microwave not working, shower leading when we shower so the the floor all wet.

The hot part of the buffet breakfast was disappointing. Because it was a public holiday (Anzac Day) breakfast was from 8am - 10am we arrived at 0830 to find rock hard hash browns rubbery chicken sausages and bacon. The food had been left for to long in the warming dishes and needed to be refreshed. On the positive side the cold side was great and plentiful. Staff at MCS great very polite, helpful and obliging. The air conditioning was set to low. Whilst the apartment had a thermostat it only registered the temperature in the room it transpired the system was set from a central point for the whole building.

the staff were warm and friendly upon our arrival and very helpful and accommodating. The toilet paper was very thin and there was only one roll .
