Melbourne CBD Central Apartment Hotel

the location was perfect for the footy. baby cockroaches on tiles in kitchen area, also in bathroom. hairs of animals and human on spare warm blankets, yuck, pillows as thin as paper. no one in reception to answer questions, when you call it goes un answered. receptionist was running from this hotel to the other hotel she owned so was never around. no cleaners to clean room, receptionist went up with a cloth and spray and wipe when my room wasnt ready for checking in. still waiting to get my bond back

Carpet replacement required, tv operation difficult, needs instruction sheet ? Faulty remote.

Good location and great price Bedroom was poorly ventilated - no fan or air con - on a hot night - I had to sleep on the couch in the air conditioned lounge-kitchen

Location Filthy. Spa bath was covered in think mould. Glasses in cupboard were not even washed. Nobody at reception at arrival. Had to wait 20 mins for someone. Checked out 4 hours after I checked in

Location is great, very clean not a fan of the $1000 secruity deposit. got it back ASAP, but still alot of money to be handing over for one night

The fact that my partner was electrocuted, the room subsequently without power which was unable to be restored. The room was filthy and the hotel offered us a refund but is yet to actually provide one a week later.

Location Nearly everything. No staff. No forewarning of check-in procedure because of business model of not staffing the reception desk even 'though they knew when we were arriving.. No access to replacement of deficiencies in room facilities because of no staff. Things like sink plugs and hangars missing. Shower over a spa bath with fall hazard getting in and out. Slippery spa floor causing a slip hazard when showering. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. No sharp knife for food preparation in the kitchen. No mirror in the bedroom. No instructions for how to operate the airconditioner. Television remote didn't work properly - would not allow channel change without inputting channel number. The mandatary unstaffed reception check in procedure require four telephone calls to sort out. I asked for them to call me when check-in was complete and they refused - I had to call them on all occasions. They refuse to supply staff, and then charge $100 call-out fee for any immediate issues which need attention. The place is a joke. I presume all Central Apartment sites are the same. I will be telling anyone who wants to know, and a lot who don't, not to fall for the same mistake we did.

Comfortable,spacious and clean,which effectively ticks all the important boxes. Slightly limited facilities, slightly tired building,fixtures and amenities.

The location was great for the purpose I was in melbourne for .Bed was tidy and sheets clean Carpet has an odour , need to be washed and not just vacuumed

The only upside was the location and the staff, and even then the concierge desk closes at 6pm I wrote a list while I was there of all the things wrong with this location. - No evacuation plan - No fire extinguisher/ blanket - No hot water in evening - Jets in bath didn’t work - Bath faucet broken - Dirty walls - 2 mattresses pushed together for queen bed (uncomfortable) - Mould in showers - Some lights don’t work, 1 flickers - Mirrors aren’t clean - Curtains don’t work properly - Lampshades broken - Frosted glass chipped - Missing shelves in bathroom - Only washer no dryer (advertised as fully equipped laundry) - TV only has free to air (streaming advertised) - TV remote doesn’t work - No coffee machine (advertised) - No high chair (advertised) - Wifi periodically doesn’t work/ is slow

Cupboards could’ve been wiped down, and the keys in the spa didn’t work, apart from that it was amazing and the bed was super comfy!!!!!

Size Mouldy bathroom

The room or rather apartment was huge, clean & well maintained. It is older/ slightly dated but that’s fine for my stay. Nothing.
