The long term stay people were just no good, up to no good, smelly its gone down hill bad

Location was good. The balcony is a good addition and the small kitchenette with large size fridge and sink is great. Hard to find a carpark on Arthrur st as it is very busy. The frosted glass for the bathroom and gaps in door is not the best for privacy when going to the bathroom/shower. Also the proximity of the bathroom to the bed is too close. No ventilation or exhaust fan in bathroom. Curtains/drapes were a bit grotty/dirty. Toilet seat is stained/yellowed and could be changed and bathroom sink has seen better days. The telephone shower head leaks from the base. No phone for contacting reception in room. Only a phone in the hallway. Not sure how it is 5 star. Staff were pleasant but could be more engaging and ask about how our stay was etc.

The space The view

I’ve stayed here a few times over the last couple of years and enjoyed the location and the property. The management have severed relations with the owner of the basement car park and parking is nowat hourly commercial rates, ridiculously expensive. While there is some street parking it’s highly restricted short-term meters during the week. I drive in from the country so won’t stay here again. CBD hotels have better deals with car park operators. Disappointed.

Bathroom doors

Large room, very comfortable with floor to ceiling windows. There was no early check in and the lobby was very small

There is a microwave and fridge. Huge double balcony. The pizza dough at the restaurant was amazing. Area is and room is quiet. The location was in a business area but not far from a train station. I would recommend staying in the Docklands area near the water. The dishwasher overflowed with soap. They are rated as 5-star but had no bellhop or concierge. The restaurant is not open every day and there is no room service.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. Everything was brand new and clean. Staff was super kind. The room was really big and nice and the beds were super-comfy. There was not the possibility of having breakfast, but the staff suggested a place just in front of the hotel which was great. We used also the nearby parking, which was convenient. We just stayed one night, so we could say nothing about how easy is to reach the city center. nothing

We loved our comfortable stay at the Kitson and appreciated the room upgrade and garden views.

The room was exceptionally large for a hotel room. The room was well equipped when compared to the normal hotel room. The bed was extremely comfortable. Great little restaurant on the ground floor. Curtins did not close properly. The TV setup and channels was less than basic. I needed to use my own subscriptions to watch anything and the setup forces you to use your own data to watch TV. The Hotel address was incorrect. The address is not on St Kilda Rd.

Lovely studio room. Clean and bed is really comfortable. Great kitchenette with all you need for a self contained stay. Staff really friendly and accommodating. I wish the lighting in the room was a bit brighter. Still, I won't stay anywhere else, I highly recommend this hotel.

Super hotel, my favourite place to stay. Low lighting in the room at night. Daytime fine, nice big windows.
