Location. Easy walking access to everything.

Large rooms, central and comfy bed. Clean and nice staff. Maybe a bit old fashioned but that makes it also an experience in Messina.

Good location, nice hotel. Old fashioned decor, no smart TV (Netflix etc), no ability to change aircon (was okay though). No dogs allowed at breakfast but no one told us!

The location, right by the sea. And the free parking underground A lot of things. The staff wasn't friendly ; haughty, even. The room was very dirty, there were dust and dead insects on multiple places, even on the towels. The room showed numerous signs of disrepair; the air-conditioning grille, the soap dish and the ceiling lights were coming loose. Also, the hotel pretend there is a fitness center, but it is not in the same building, it is not free but costs 10€ a day per person which is a lot, there aren't any cardio machines, and it is closed on the weekend and on Tuesdays and Thursdays afternoons. It is a deception to pretend to have a fitness center in these conditions.

Location was fantastic, and the breakfast was one of the best buffet breakfasts we have had on this trip, it beats the business class lounges at the airport! The rooms are older and outdated now but perfect for an overnight stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Older rooms could possibly be due for rejuvenation.

Location was close to train station and the port Easy walking distance to local piazza's Hotel could do with a wee upgrade as it's very old fashioned First night I was absolutely frozen as the centralised air conditioning was too cold TVs very small for the size of the rooms Layout of chairs in the reception resembled a old people's nursing home

Lovely hotel close to the station. Very good breakfast. We wished we had spent a little longer to explore Messina, unfortunately our train arrived very late and we had an early start the next day.
