Breakfast is fine but limited. My room did not have hot water for 2 days and then hot water also didn’t work another time (eventually fixed). I was without hot water for more than half of the times I took showers. I would have expected the property to offer some discount, but, nothing. The housekeepers hung up dirty towels from on the bathroom floor. More than once. I left a note in Spanish and English telling them I wanted clean towels. It’s gross.

The location is perfect, walkable and safe. Lovely facility in a gorgeous historical home. The art everywhere adds such a nice touch! The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the staff were lovely.

I had 57 tabs open looking for the "right" place, and was lucky to have found this gem. From the room with the view into the trees, to the complimentary mezcal tasting, the lovely staff, the relative quiet that is so hard to find in this city, and the safe location... All was wonderful. Just book it

I enjoyed my stay in Casa Comtesse. It is in a great location with flowers around the entryway. I felt safe with the ornate fence and gate facing the street. It is close (a little over 1.2+ miles) to Museo Nacional de Antropologia and Castillo de Chapultepec, two places that are on my to-see list. There are wonderful restaurants within walking distance. The staff were helpful and courteous – desk service spoke English (as well Spanish and French per their website), provided assistance to all my questions, as well as helping me carry my bags up to the second floor; in addition to the fresh fruit, juice/tea/coffee and pastries, cooks provided a wonderful special every morning for the two mornings that I was there during 08:00 to 10:00 timeframe (as I didn’t know that I could request a light breakfast the day before); and the cleaning staff kept my room spotless every day. My room (Amber) had both an oscillating fan AND a small air conditioner. Yippee! Bed was comfortable. Plenty of storage space for a person to store their clothes, if desired; along with a small safe. As it is a B&B, I got to meet and talk with wonderful guests every morning at the dining table. A free library with lots of English books is available. I added a book that I didn’t want to lug back to my home. Free WiFi is available. I highly recommend staying at Casa Comtesse! A nit - but it did take time (3 to 4 minutes) for the shower water to heat up, but I washed my legs and arms while waiting.

Charming. Beautiful. Great location Warm and very helpful staff. Super breakfast

Such a beautiful hotel on an old mansion house. It’s a little hidden from the main road behind a gate but there is a sign on the gate. The staff are amazingly nice and spoke great English. We got lots of info about the local area during check in including maps. They even had a little mezcal bar. The neighbourhood is beautiful - highly recommend walking to Parque Mexico. Breakfast was decent, including fruit, yogurt, pastries and a different cooked option each day. There’s also a coffee machine that you can use anytime as well as a purified water tap.

We were greeted warmly by every staff member. Diego greeted us and each day was helpful with recommendations and suggestions regarding the area. Breakfast was generous and beautifully presented. The common areas were exquisite! Our bedroom, the Junior Suite, was spacious; the bed very comfortable. Everything was perfect.
