Friendly staff, location

Hotel Marlowe is conveniently located in the city center and Chinatown. The neighborhood is vibrant and enjoyable to walk yet inside the hotel it is quiet and peaceful. The food in the restaurant is very good. Most of he staff are friendly and attentive. The concierges were very helpful. It was very clean and eco friendly. Instead of plastic water bottles, potable water is provided through a special tap in each room. This is my hotel of choice when I travel to Mexico City. I like everything about it.

Fairly large multi-story hotel with all the necessary conveniences in Centro. My room was surprisingly quiet in this busy area, but it did face a brick wall. It’s a nine minute walk to the Juarez metro station and about five to San Juan de Letran station, making it convenient to get around the city. Clean, great hot water, plenty of towels, and even a tap for filter drinking water. Staff were helpful and friendly. You can leave luggage there if you need to check out later. A tiny thing: there is no way to get the shampoo or conditioner out of the bottles because the plastic is so hard that you can’t squeeze them. The only way to get the contents out is to unscrew the top and shake the liquid into your hand.

This hotel is an excellent choice for historic El Centro CDMX - everything you want to see is within walking distance- plus a bike rental place for riding Avenida Del La Re Forma on Sunday - the hotel is safe - clean - great staff- great restaurant on 1st floor and open early and closes late. The rooms are good size - clean and made up every day- the staff are friendly and go out of their way to serve you ! Thank you ? love Hotel Marlowe ! Can’t wait to come back ! PS - China town is also close by! Nothing ! Can be noisy at night but I love being in CDMX! ?? ❤️

I have stayed here many times. Because the service elevator was noisy I asked to be roomed away from that elevator. They honored my request and gave me a room far from the elevator. When my brother tried to phone me and I wasn't in my room, a man came and found me in the restaurant. The location is great. Within walking distance of the Zocalo and some of the wonderful museums nearby. Also is near Mexico City's Chinatown and not far from several incredible artisan markets. The staff are friendly, helpful and tolerated me even though I speak very little Spanish. Each room has a special spigot for purified water which isn safe to drink. Having a nice restaurant in the hotel made it easy to have breakfast.

the air in the rooms are dusty and the pillows themselves not the covers should bd washed more often. If possible please add a air purifier
