Clean, comfortable, and safe option in the centre to Mexico City. Staff was very polite and accommodating. Restaurant and lounge offered good food and drink options in a comfortable setting

Bang for buck, great breakfast!

Its location and price. You are told you get free breakfast but it’s a lie. You have to use a fan because there is no AC.

I liked the ease of checking in and the main lobby was attractive. The room had a decent bed and a TV. The shower was challenging to use and it was difficult to keep the water inside the shower basin. The transportation to the hotel and distance from the airport were quite aggravating. Honestly, the furniture inside the room was old and worn out. The floors and corners of the room and the hallways were a little dirty. Finally, I was informed that breakfast was included in the morning and that it was complementary. It was unpleasantly surprising and frustrating to discover when I arrived at the hotel that I had to pay for breakfast if I wanted it. I decided not to pay for breakfast and went somewhere else to eat. Hotel Metropol has the potential to be a nice hotel, but with the current status, I do not plan to return to this location in the future.

Great location downtown, friendly staff. Potable water taps in the rooms don’t work, the amenities are pretty dated with thin towels, the breakfast was good but expensive for what you get.
