The hotel is very charming and quiet Although is not in the hip area, I liked being in the historical centre. I’ve found weird and uncomfortable to be in a room without windows.

Excellent location at walking distance of Bellas Artes, el Zocalo and a couple of metro stations. Architecture and aesthetics of the place are amazing, great mix of historic and modern. The place feels like an oasis of relaxation and quietness in the middle of the hectic city center. All the staff was super friendly and welcoming. The included breakfast wasn't great, taste was mid, pancakes were the driest pancakes I have ever had. Food from the upstairs restaurant is a whole different story, delicious food and the welcoming drinks are amazing.

The Hotel physically was beautiful and architecturally very interesting. Our room which was Junior suite was nice and spacious. The service was great and the staff wonderful. The hotel is very close to the cathedral, about 7 minutes of easy walk. We felt very safe every where we went around the hotel and in the city central area. We would have given the hotel 5 stars if it wasn’t for the noise issue and the lack of choices for breakfast. The major issue for this hotel is the acoustics of the structure. In our room, Late at night we could hear music from the area close the restaurant that is on the roof which is part of the second floor. For several nights we had to ask to turn the music down. In the mornings, starting about 6:30 am, we could hear people talking at the front desk. Our room was on the first floor. Breakfast was included and though it was tasty and well presented there were very few choices. We stayed seven nights so we had to repeat the same dishes for most of the mornings. We had some mosquitoes issue in the room and got stung several times. We are not sure how they got in as we kept the glass doors closed almost all the time.

The pictures did not lie. It was just a spectacularly niche and pretty place with high end amenities, great restaurants and food, and helpful staff. It was really central, especially for the places we wanted to go (noting that Mexico City is HUGE). It felt safe, clean, and really sweet. I couldn't rate it high enough. We were so happy! It was a little tricky to access via car, but it could have been timing with FIFA.

Breakfast was good, service was great and staff were very courteous, always checking in to make sure we were doing okay. The chef even gave us a private tour to share the history of the 500+ year old hotel. There is nothing negative about this place. Nothing.

It is a beautiful, unique historical building right by Zócalo ! Tastefully renovated. Nothing

Centrally located to the city center with plenty of great food close by. The hotel is super clean and a true gem! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The restaurant upstairs should truly be reviewed by the Michelin guide. Service at the restaurant was just as amazing as the service downstairs for breakfast, which was included. Can’t speak enough about this stay! Nothing

I wish everything was included for breakfast
