Stayed here for its interior design and architecutre of its minimal look and ode to Spanish design. Great sized room especially the one with the interior skylight. Very friendly welcome with a Herradura shot and a cocktail voucher on their terrace area. Room service food was good and very timely. Quality of food was great. A little loud with other guests in the area as sound reverbates around the propety and you can hear people's conversations and bathroom facilities

It's hard to put anything good because of how we were treated when we arrived. But the general staff there are so lovely and excellent unfortunately let down by their GM and poor decisions. Well where do I start. We booked it 4months in advance , arriving after a 15 hour journey on the day of my wife's birthday. Told then that sorry but for the next two days and nights we have taken a private party so the pool , rooftop terrace , restaurant, sauna and jacuzzi are closed. If we want breakfast we can always have it in our room!!! Basically someone made a conscious decision that said , we don't care about the guests that are booked, we will do the event. To say I was furious is an understatement. But we can also move hotels if we want to one of their sister hotels. I mean imagine , late at night and then the next day having to move , which we did as no pool or restaurant etc. hardly the birthday my wife was expecting. Also the GM just let his lovely staff deal with it and never showed his face - what a disgrace. We then find out it's an internal event for sales!! What a joke. On this occasion it's not about what they tried to do to fix the issue , it's the issue they created themselves that's the problem. It totally ruined the start to our holiday and my wife's birthday - awful. It's such a shame and whilst this probably only affects a few people and isn't "normal" what does it say about how it's run. When people make decisions like this they don't consider the knock on effect that their decisions make. It's part of a big group and the irony of this is , the event they "took" with the total disregard for the booked guests was for sales , to boost bookings. Interesting way to go about it.

The architecture is stunning, room very cool and comfortable. Great location. Breakfast was nice but so slow. Everyone was waiting a long time to get their food. We heard several guests telling staff they had tours booked and would their food be much longer. It was good, just make sure to allow an hour for breakfast to be safe (bring a book or work to do!)

The rooms were beautifully designed. The roof terrace was lovely. The food and drink were great. The toilet in the bedroom wasn’t fully personal as the door / ceiling was open
