The Savoy Hotel & Beach Club

The Savoy has the best customer service, they make you feel like they would do anything for you to make you feel comfortable, and they actually do. The suite was beautiful, the cleaning lady did everything perfectly and on time every day. We will definitely come back to this beautiful hotel by the beach, privileged location! It has been one of the best hotels we have ever stayed and it smells delicious.

Great location, large room and historic landmark hotel

Great place great location- made for a perfect holiday!!!

The service at the hotel was impeccable. We sat in the pool area and the drinks kept flowing. The staff were friendly and genuinely kind to speak with. We also tried out the beach area which is directly behind the pool (about a 2 minute walk). From the moment that we arrived on the beach, we were greeted by staff, given our own seating area and umbrella, and provided with towels. This was all complementary. About 3 minutes after sitting down on the beach, a staff member arrived to take our orders too. This again was incredible. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. For the price, this is hitting above its league for service, quality, and overall experience. It’s also centrally located so you can walk to food spots nearby.

From the time we checked in, Denzel treated us so well. Valet parking was a breeze. Jesus V was so accommodating at the beach. We will definitely return and highly recommend the Savoy to our friends and family for a true Miami vacation.

The room was also missing basic toiletries upon arrival, the bed was extremely uncomfortable due to a rock-hard mattress and a noticeable gap in the bed frame, and the pool—one of the main reasons we booked this hotel—was closed without adequate notice. Dining options were also very limited, with no indoor restaurant and only a small outdoor menu. Any one of these issues would have been disappointing. Combined, they resulted in an experience that was far below the standard we paid for. We reported the air conditioning problem during our stay, but the overall experience remained unacceptable. For these reasons, I believe a full refund, or at least a meaningful partial refund, is warranted.

Not sure it was worth the money. No one at the hotel seemed to know my room number when using amenities, claimed I wasn’t staying in the room I was in when at the beach, no beverage or food services at the beach was annoying for hours on end, getting a drink at the bar took an act of Congress and there was no towels available for guests at the pool; and although I was granted a late checkout at 12, staff showed up at 11:20 questioning why I was still in the room. This hotel needs to get their act together because one side isn’t talking to the other. Won’t be spending my money here again.

I’ve been using this great south beach establishment since I was 35 and now I’m 50! All staff members were a pleasure, but DENZEL was EXCEPTIONAL! I’ll ALWAYS book this hotel whenever I visit Miami!! Thank GOD NOW & LATER because you’re in for a delightful experience!

There was no ice in the ice machine/ refrigerator. I asked several times to please replenish the ice .

Great location, near everything but quiet and right on the beach - staff really attentive at the beach and pool, great included breakfast (out by the pool you select what you want from a menu of options). Would stay again!

Was under construction at the time. Rooms are large but kind of boring, no style. Overall a comfortable stay, but not sure it’s worth the price premium.

The smell in reception on arrival was beautiful as was the decor. Reception and poolside staff were amazing. The room was just beautiful. I could live there.

Location and service was outstanding. Beds could be more comfortable including the blankets. Also a magnifying mirror in the bathroom for ladies make it is a must , that it needs to be place.

You're paying for location at this resort. This is not a $500+ a night resort. I also understand we went over a holiday weekend so one of our nights was over $800, and it's not even close to being an $800 a night room, it was like an old school $100 a night room at the Days Inn. Bathroom floor tile needs to be completely replaced, the carpet in the hallways need to be replaced. It's a very old building that needs lots of updates. Like I said you're paying for the location. The drinks at the pool bar are $25+ and not many options, it's very expensive place to stay and there's zero amenities. The property doesn't even have a hotel restaurant or bar besides the pool bar and it closes at 6:30 then you're on your own, you have to leave the property to get just about anything you need. I was highly disappointed that I paid over $3,000 for 4 nights, we could've stayed at the Lowe's or the Ritz for the same amount of money and both of those hotels are much much nicer. Won't be going back to the Savoy I'll just uber to south of 5th if I have to next time I come to South beach. It's not worth the ridiculous amount of money their rooms are especially when they have zero amenities for their guest. Oh yea and they sell day passes to the public and we couldn't even get chairs by the pool the first two days we were there bc they were all taken and hotel guest don't get any kind of priority over the day passers.
