Great hotel I not staying there

The smell of Marijuana being smoked IN THE Hotel constantly! I suspect the owners family lives in the hotel and were the ones CONSTANTLY smoking the stink weed.

Bed linens with burn holes in them

I did not like the fact that it’s said breakfast was included and it was only cereal

The hotel itself was somewhat Pleasant for a low end chain like Super 8. The inside was kept up decent and the room was somewhat large. However, several things kept me from giving it a five-star rating, the first being the shower and bathtub did not shut off when the water was turned off, and the water temperature was warm at best. They did switch me to a neighboring room and that was better. A quirky thing that I've never experienced before is there was no place to hang the toilet paper roll, there just wasn't a holder like all bathrooms have. Very minor but just quirky. But what I didn't really like is they advertised breakfast included, and that was an insult because it would be fine for a 10-year-old boy. All they had was Raisin Bran cereal cold, and that's it. No toaster or bread even, not even one of those waffle makers that even the cheaper places have. But to her credit, the young lady who help me with these handled it well and felt that it was just the parent company didn't seem to be putting in enough money and effort to compete with other nearby hotels.

The bed bugs that were crawling in our bed and since I booked through Booking.com I got told there was nothing they could do

The vending machines were mostly sold out, warm, and absurdly over priced. All beverages were 2 weeks from expiration. They'd been in there a while. That's about my only complaint.

As the breakfast goes they have Frosted Flakes and Raisin Bran Crunch juice and coffee that is it the staff is rude and I found dirty socks in my room

Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Something warm to eat would have been nice but only cold cereal and milk and juice were options. Morning staff could have been friendlier and that was disappointing.

Just a heads up they no longer do breakfast. Just coffee & juice, but we made that work.

It was dirty

The room was not clean. It had a bad odor to it. The carpet was not clean. The place was a little rundown.

Bed was horrible room smelled like animal

Conveniently located in south Dayton

Other than that the staff was friendly.

It’s fine for what it is. Some of the staff is friendly, others act as though you are an inconvenience. Beds felt like springs might pop through, but at least the room was clean.
