The Location. Just 300m from beach. Cleanliness : It was very dirty. I even saw small insects in the bathroom. TV controller was full of dirt. and battery was empty. It was very dirty , so much that I was afraid the blanket and towels maybe were not washed. For me that cleanliness is so important , I will never ever book this hotel. I even asked the receptionists if he could give me some slippers but they didn’t have. there was almost nothing in the bathroom except for towels. The receptionist started talking about walloon people that they are lazy and that they take all money from government by doing nothing and that we walloon people don’t speak dutch in general ! I mean that s none of his business. But the location is good ! and that quite all. that is good about this hotel.

Location Location Location. We parked the car in front of the hotel. The rooms are nice, the bed a bit narrow but we managed. Breakfast was a possibility to add which we didn’t do but the room looked nice. No reception in the morning, evening and night time.

The only nice thing is that the Hotel is in front of the sea! The lack of respect, being insulted and making analogies to Adolf H... Just because we came from Germany, was the worst situation and we have never experienced anything like it!! This is what happened when we asked the name of the person we were talking to on the phone. This same man insulted us, called us liars and said he would not Check-in us in at the time we arrived (02:00 Night) and he wanted from us 40€ for this ( to open Check-in) which we refused. The Booking informed us that the reception was open 24hrs. We made the reservation with the times we would arrive and even sent two messages and called 3x to the Hotel after reservation that we would also be bringing our dog and we didn't receive any response. We left Germany by car for Belgium about 6 hours later, when we got there all the trouble started as mentioned above. He argued with us on the phone for about 30 minutes and only after I said I would call the Police for the insults and hung up the phone, he sent ca. 10 min. an employee (he said it wasn't him on the phone) to do our check-in. He also kept questioning us as if we were lying and we decided to stay because we were already tired from the long trip and with our dog in the cold. I paid 60€ for 3 days because of our dog (I knew there was an additional fee but it wasn't clear at all in the hotel information). The room we stayed in was 9B… The only good thing was the view of the sea!! Bed small and uncomfortable, The bathroom toilet was dirty and we asked the cleaning lady to help us with it again. We didn't have breakfast there or any other restaurant service, but because of the smell of the hotel, I wouldn't recommend it either, cleaning here doesn't seem to be their strong point! Also, the city is beautiful and worth visiting, but I do not recommend the Hotel at all.

What we like most in this hotel is the location (at the beach), the comfortable bed, and the excellent buffet breakfast.

Location was best. Foul smell in bathroom and in another room pungent smell of food from kitchen.

Breakfast was excellent, good selection and good quality. We had an excellent Dinner too, nice friendly staff. Clean Room, comfy Bed and excellent Shower/Bath.We parked across the road from the Hotel 5 Euros for 24hrs. Bought the 24hr Tram pass which is the longest in the world, 60 plus stops 7.5 euros Bargain and recommended. Easy check in and out. No visible Hotel sign- so difficult to find. Its dog friendly and we like dogs but don't think they should be allowed in the restaurant and certainly not fed from the table ! Good location and we really enjoyed our stay.
