We love the location of the Inn and also that there is a lovely dinner with live music on the property so we didnt need to go anywhere after a long day of travel.

Great, cozy Inn! Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Super convenient too. Thank you.

Another absolutely excellent stay! I've stayed a couple of nights on 12 seperate occasions. One of my favorite places to stay anywhere. I've stayed in 40+ states, 12 countries, and a couple of protectorates across 4 continents. Friendly and accommendating staff who are of great service. Could not recommend highly enough, especially because of their pet policy. Thank you!

Place was well located and clean. The staff was great. We did have a problem with one electrical outlet that we let the staff know and they tried to take care of it and put in a repair notice.

Great place but restaurant was closed

Staff was very friendly. Room smelled musty and was not updated in a very long time. Could be nice but needs some love.

Was disappointed how clean the bathroom was. There was hair and a hairpin on the floor with some other debris and the inside of the toilet did not look clean. Some of the bathroom looked renovated but the toilet was old.

A picturesque, historic Inn in a good location. We had a large comfortable and clean room, though the bathroom would benefit from modernisation, as would the amenities. A bit let down at times by some of the staff, some of whom were brusque, unhelpful or just not very proactive.

Historic and beautifully maintained inn with clean and comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Helpful staff and good food at the tavern housed inside the inn. Centrally located and easy to find. A perfect spot from which to explore Middlebury and the surrounding area while getting a taste of historic Vermont.

Just a lovely place! It was quiet and cozy, within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The staff were very nice and I had two good meals in the restaurant. I'd definitely return.

This historic hotel is a classic - well maintained with period furniture; fireplace, books, and memorabilia in the downstairs lounge area; even an elevator. The bathrooms were updated with new tile and sparkling clean grout. Plenty of hot water.

The Middlebury Inn is a gem! I had a fabulous stay there. We had a beautiful private family brunch in the Founder’s room, and it was literally perfect! The staff is top tier! I will be back!

We wanted to attend one of the Festival on the Green's concerts, so we decided to try out the Middlebury Inn, seeing as to it being located right across the street from the festival's venue. What a great inn and friendly, helpful staff! We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the Middlebury area.

The staff was very nice and answered any question we had. The rooms were very clean and well stocked. If we couldn't find it in the room the staff got it for us. The tavern food was delicious and the wait staff very pleasant. We needed gluten free meals and they made it happen.

I'm so used to having coffee/tea available. It doesn't need to be in room but available throughout the day until approx 10 pm. This inn has a restaurant inside the facility but no coffee available throughout. When I inquired they seemed like they didn't know it was a thing in most hotels outside of breakfast. My only complaint. I just thought it was strange.
