Days Inn by Wyndham Middletown

Cons: The one bed had dirt on it. The property itself is old and not been updated in years. The mini frisge had so much ice in it, unable to really use. Walls are thin. Vending machine was empty. Hotels just dont maintain their properties like they use too.

Exceptional

The staff was nice, but the location felt unsafe. People were roaming at all hours. There is no elevator, there was a mini fridge in the stairwell. The outside door was propped. There were towels thrown into the hall. The room itself was decently updated, but had a kind of gross couch. I was really angry about the joke called breakfast. They had processed mini muffins a coffee machine and a juice machine. Yuck. I would avoid this place if you can help it.

Too many low-quality people in and around the property. Drug using and selling in the immediate area. Care for the hallways doors and stairways is sub-par. Never felt sage parking my vehicle there overnight. Room rates are fair but not worth exposing myself or my vehicle to the desperate people in and near the property.

Pool was fine, the only problem I had was the motel tried to make me leave a cash deposit of $60.00 instead of a credit card. They were adamant until I threated to cancel the reservation and leave. Then they relented and didn't require it.

The room was very clean. The staff were very pleasant people. The pool was not the cleanest and could have used some attention. I would not recommend this for a business trip but it was in a good area.

I didn't like nothing. Staff was very rude room was dirty. The person above us was very loud all night all morning early. We got no rest. We asked to be moved we were told no. We had to leave. I talked to the manager about getting a refund he did not apologize he was rude. I'm still trying to get a full refund. I was told by night staff member to pretty much leave with my young daughter at 1230 a.m. but yet the person above me was fine. And he even got to get his room moved.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! We came down for a trip to kings island with 3 kids, my wife and myself. The grounds and building were extremely rough and not well take care of. The interior was also in bad shape, with the front desk employee behind glass like a gas station. We entered the room and room was not cleaned. The bedding had stains, the fridge and microwave had leftover rotting food. Then my wife watched as individuals were doing drug deals in the parking lot and people walking around checking out cars to see what ones were unlocked. It was not safe for a family to stay at. Please do not bring your kids or even yourself to an establishment like this. We left after 10min and requested a refund which the front desk said he had to speak with the manager about. Have not heard anything back.

The room was very clean and freshly renovated. Everything worked well. I was disappointed in the lack of breakfast--the only offerings were sweet rolls and instant coffee. There was no coffee maker in the room, but there was a microwave and a refrigerator.
