The Calypso offers affordable accommodations near Caiazzo Metro Station, one stop from Milano Centrale Railway Station that offers links to Expo 2015 Exhibition Center, a 15-minute train ride away. Hotel Calypso is surrounded by many restaurants ethnic restaurants and pizzerias, and is located directly above an internet café. All rooms at the Calypso Hotel feature a TV and work desk. The area offers excellent public transport links around Milan by both metro and tram. A surcharge of 30EUR applies for arrivals after check-in hours, between 22:30 and 23:30. For arrivals between 23:30 and 00:30, the surcharge is 50EUR. Check-in after 00:30 is not allowed. All requests for late arrival are subject to confirmation by the property License Number(s): 015146-ALB-00106

The room was large with a lovely balcony to sit out on. Comfy bed with table area, kitchen area with sink and mini fridge, large bathroom. Lovely and clean. Friendly staff, there was an older lady in the room and the top of the stairs who always said good morning and good evening as we passed. Good air-conditioning. Easy walk from train station where trips pick up from and airport shuttle and metro stops. As a couple we felt safe however as a white British female I'm not sure if would feel safe on my own around the area. This is no reflection on the hotel.

Staff were a lovely family, the room was awesome - loved the industrial style accents, bathroom was spacious, brick wall detailing and had a cute balcony! Such great value for money. Very close to central station too. The aircon - not very strong and was always turned off when we returned to the room!!

Location. Walking distance to the Central Station and Bus station. The room was very clean and has almost everything what I need. Pasquale was very helpful and very friendly and explained everything on the day of our arrival It would be nice to have an iron in room☺️

The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and spacious and the bed and pillow are comfortable! The fridge and air conditioning is perfect for summer ! The bathroom is big n tidy . Will for sure come again for my next trip . The stairs to second floor is a bit narrow , so is a bit difficult to walk with big luggage or big bags up.

Main reason for our stay here was the close distance to the Milan Central Train station. It was okay for our 1 night stay. No complaints other than that the place is still being renovated and felt a bit like walking in a construction site.

Location, near to Central Station was ideal. Close to tram lines and metro so moving around was easy. The room was dark and only one shutter opened so we didn't stay in the room for long. Balcony was tiny and there was only room for one chair on it so we could not sit outside.

Location and staff The staff was very kind, helpful and communicative. They even let us check in earlier as we were in hurry. It was clean and as described. I’d definitely visit again and would recommend it.
