The hotel and room was exceptionally clean. The reception staff Linda was very polite and friendly. Thanks to Gustao who explained various commuting options to the airport, answered our questions patiently and was a great help. I needed some warm milk to take my medication which the room service provided at odd hours very happily. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great staff - very friendly and respectful and happy to give suggestions on where to go and how to get there. Comfortable rooms with great air con. Superb breakfast with so much choice and lovely atmosphere. Location. Short walk to metro and 3 stops to Duomo about 15 minute walk to train station. Not sure if it was because it was August and so many things were closed but the area had a bit of an abandoned grungy feel about it. Uber bicycle food delivery drivers lounging about on the streets. As a solo traveller, I did not feel entirely safe walking back from dinner after dark.

The room was nicely decorated, good lighting and comfy bed. Manu Italian beds are rock hard, this one had a nice top layer. Staff was very friendly. The breakfast options were a bit limited if you don’t like all the sweet pastries. The scrambled eggs were dry, the next day I took a boiled egg and it was completely cold and overcooked. For many people, an omelet, scrambled eggs or a nice soft-boiled egg are a key component of their breakfast. I guess this is more Italian as the sweet options were available.
