Koala Hostel

The location was nice. It is near and walking distance to metro as well as shops and restaurants. The hostel was cute and has all the amenities. Ok for a quick stay at Milan. There was a heatwave during our stay and since there is no airconditioning it was hot. But not the hotel’s issue, just bring a small fan if there is a heat wave.

Not very comfortable and the bathrooms were incredibly dirty. But for the price, if you are only staying here to merely sleep then it might be okay.

Good location Guests didn't respect quiet times and there are no guidelines regarding the issue

1. Staff was very friendly 2. Big metalic locker with 2 hangers 3. Location close to Milano Centrale train station 4. I was given lower bed as I asked for 5. There was only one person besides me in the 8-bed dorm 1. There was no hot water in the closest bathroom, only in the bathroom with 4 cabins 2. The kitchen is not available in the night, so I didn't risk to use the fridge because I had early check-out at 6.50 AM 3. The AC socket was near the bed, but the accesss to it was very difficult

Definitely some cleanliness issues, especially in the bathroom with grim and hair everywhere.

Just the location Everything, The shower cabins had clogged drains, causing water to pool and completely cover your feet when you stepped inside.

I didn’t like anything There is no hot water . And they put music every time very disturbing. No cleaning in washrooms. Even 3rd class washrooms. And for shower there is no water even in washrooms. No soap no tissue. I waste my money to stay there.

Wasn't hygenic, unfortunately. There were stains in my sheet and blanket. Toilets were a bit dirty as well. It is okay for 1 night.

It's a good location, and it's clean, fairly Toooooo much sound The beds make a lot of sound There were people playing billiard until 4am There were people coming and going and slaming the doors. You CAN'T sleep, the only purpose of a hostel.

Showers need to be maintained

just an ordinary place,no good,no bad,just for sleeping and enjoying the milan.

It was only a five minute walk to a metro station which was nice. The staff were very friendly and willing to help. Lounge area was nice. Everyone seemed very sociable. Room and bathroom were clean. Light coming in from outside was so bright I could barely sleep all night.

There is nothing to like any thing, this hostel is fraud & scam Its a very bad hostel, infact its a scam and fraud. I booked private room on booking . Com and they gave me dormitory room with bunk bed, as per owner claudia, that room is not available so i requested him to refund me money but he didnt agree and let me waiting at reception for 2 hours. I had no option but to accept whatever they are giving. Secondly, they dont have proper private rooms of concrete, they have cardboard cabins which means you can hear the noices from next room. Heater some times work and some times not. Noicy bunk beds. Some one knock my door badly at 5:00 am and my heart beat stops. Some one entered in my cabin at 8:00 am and i was shocked, when i ask who is this? Then he left, although i locked the door but i dont know how he opened. There is no security because its in abondon building, reception is in other building so no check and no security. Very bad pee smell all the time. Towels are with stains. Receptionist italian guy behaviour is so bad, he given me threats when i was not accepting room. They charge Euro 20 deposit for no reason, there is additional charges of every thing like laundry, kitchen, fridge etc I stayed 3 days with fear and discomfort. I forgot to read the reviews of this hostel which is also bad.

Located near 2 metro lines, Koala Hostel is fairly easy to arrive to, day and night. The staff were polite and accommodating, and the common areas were clean and accessible. The living room/bar area encourages social interaction and cultural exchange. I find the hostel would benefit from having a larger stove, considering the amount of young travelers on a budget that plan to spend a few days in Milano and might want to cook more often. On the other hand, there are several affordable restaurants and supermarkets in the area, and Milano overall.

I had a great stay at Koala Hostel! The staff was super welcoming and friendly — they really made me feel at home. They also gave me great advice on what to see and do in Milan, which helped me make the most of my trip. The atmosphere was cozy and social, perfect for travelers. Definitely recommend! ??

Close to top attractions. I highly recommend to others this hostel. When i come back again Milan I don’t hesitate to choose again Koala Hostel. I absolutely loved my stay All is good

Too much noisy at midnight

I liked the 24/24 reception because I had to leave really early. And also it is really close to Loreto Someone had peed without cleaning in one toilet, and there were loud snores in my room, but none of this is caused by owner.
