B&B Via Fontana Milano

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were spotless and very well maintained. the staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely love to stay here again!

* The room was clean, spacious, and well organized. * The amenities made the stay especially comfortable, including tea, capsule coffee, a coffee machine, an electric kettle, disposable items, and a minibar with water, showing clear attention to guest comfort and care from the host. * The check-in process was confusing, involving multiple passwords before accessing the room keys, and there were no clear written instructions, which made arrival feel disorganized, despite the host’s willingness to explain everything over a phone call. * The breakfast was served at a bakery off-site, located relatively far from the accommodation, and was very limited. The staff at the bakery were not very welcoming and had difficulty communicating in English, which led to misunderstandings when ordering additional paid items. The experience was uncomfortable enough that we chose not to return on the following days.

Very convenient, secure location. Adequate space for a couple. Typical metal blinds on windows. We were sent multiple links for restaurants and things to do. Check-in, for us at 8:15pm was not smooth. The instructions we received were to contact someone named Ludoviko via WhatsApp when we arrive at the apartment building. We did, but were unable to use WhatsApp, so the taxi driver kindly let us use his phone. After explaining to Ludoviko that we couldn't access WhatsApp, he scolded us repeatedly for not having wifi/mobile data. He was irritated (we didn't understand why) but finally agreed to come at 9:15pm to let us in and pass on the keys. We never understood why the communication had to be made via WhatsApp. Also: It was impossible to control the direction of the shower stream. The tea selection was sparse and the selection of biscuits even sparser. There were no instructions for the coffee machine and after several attempts we were only able to produce a lukewarm espresso. Breakfast: just a coffee and a sweet roll.

The location is excellent, it is in a very good area. The building is kept well. The actual accommodation is spacious and clean. Everything is well organised with a coffee machine, kettle and tea bags. Nothing

Very easy to communicate with owner. On a quiet street. It was also nice to be able to store luggage after check out. There are lots of restaurants in walking distance. We had a good night of sleep.

The shower was not the best. Would have liked to have the air conditioner control. I like air movement in my room.

You can easily contact the host. He respond immediately. Like us we arrived more early than our checked in time. He let us leave our luggages. And we have free breakfast and we need to check out early at 3am and he let us used the breakfast a day before. Big thanks to the host☺️

The location was great, easy to get to and from the city centre. Nice and clean :) walking distance to everywhere and metro near by

It's not a B&B - you get a coupon for a coffee, pastry, and juice (the fresh O.J. was wonderful) at a bistro 2 blocks away. The shower was very small - a big person could not fit into it. Getting access to the room was a little convoluted, as the owner wasn't available to meet you. The best parking available was a few blocks away, which wasn't convenient for getting 2 large suitcases to the room (traveling for 7 weeks).

The directions to get there by bus were confusing better to use Google Map

The host was very kind and responsive—always quick to reply and provided clear, helpful information. The room was very clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. While the room was on the smaller side, it wasn’t an issue for us since we only stayed one night. Overall, a smooth and pleasant experience—we appreciated the hospitality and attention to detail.

Excellent location, excellent security, very helpful manager, very well prepared and very clean. Rooms could have been a little larger.

The room was comfortable and very clean. The breakfast of coffee and croissant was appreciated. Netflix and other channels were available for our enjoyment. The room was close to our bus stop. There was a tea and coffee machine, but no cups to drink it out of or spoons to stir in sugar. The location isn’t very close to the subway station, but walkable. On the afternoon of our arrival someone must have been giving piano lessons in the building because we kept hearing the same song repeated through the walls which was unexpected.

Checkin was awkward. All done via cellphone and the WhatsApp application. Lack of physically present staff.

Exceptional

Very clean comfortable room with everything you need for a short stay. Location is in a quieter part of the city within walking distance to the Duomo and very close to trams and buses. Breakfast is in a nearby cafe and the room also has tea, coffee, biscuits and a fridge so you can store drinks and snacks bought from the shop across the road. Excellent recommendation from Ludovico for Mom Cafe which is a short walk away and a superb place for aperitivo- trendy, friendly vibe full of young people. Ludovico seems very helpful but we never met him. Just communicated via phone and text message. There is no signage on the building or inside to indicate that it is a B&B so when you arrive you feel like you’re in the wrong place. You have to ring Ludovico who lets you into the room remotely and tells you how to get the keys. The key to the door of 3 apartments is very tricky to work and we were locked out a few times until we mastered it. Stay clear of the woman who is the caretaker. She is very rude and grumpy.
