The breakfast was OK. The lady at the breakfast was very rude. She asked me to sit in a place I did not want to sit. No one was at the desk when I arrived. The keys were at the desk. A very nice gentleman helped me. He called the reception and he spoke Italian that the room was next door. The room was very nice. Everything was clean.

Great location with fabulous views of the harbour-very convenient if you are talking boat trips to the islands .Slight noise from the larger boats in the mornings.great value stay- Breakfast was very basic .

Location excellent, property very good, I met lovely and friendly the host on the second day. The shower screen requires modification as water splashes all over the bathroom. The main sliding door to the room requires adjusting as difficult to lock the door with the key. Major issue.

Nothing - we didn't end up staying!! We booked 2 x water view rooms and when we checked in we were given 2 rooms overlooking a dirty apartment complex, no water views what so ever, the lady checking us in didn't say anything when she gave us the keys. We went back to reception but she had left, we called her and after some back and forth conversations she returned and said they dont have 2 water view rooms and that it was a mistake from booking.com. We booked these rooms back at the beginning of the year! She offered one of our rooms to be moved the following night but said they were fully booked. There was no apology, the lady was quite rude so we decided not to stay and requested a refund. She did refund us but wanted us to cancel our reservation on booking.com which we refused as it was their fault we were not staying as we didn't get the rooms that were booked. She got quite angry and after a conversation with booking.com we left to find a nicer , friendlier, water view accommodation for our stay.

A lovely view of the port from our balcony. The breakfast was good compared with the typical B&B in Sicily. Coffee and tea in the room too. The host was helpful. We were pleased we could leave our bags at reception for a few hours before we left the town. Location great: 2 min walk to the ferry terminal. The shower screen had half a screen missing, so the floor got a bit wet.

clean, spacious room with a king-size bed, massage tub in the room, friendly and helpful staff also reachable by phone and online, excellent breakfast on the hotel terrace overlooking the harbor, free coffee in the lounge area in front of the room, in the center next to the harbor, excellent starting point for the Aeolian Islands, many bars and a bakery in the area, ... It is difficult to find a parking space (including paid parking) near the accommodation.

We were very surprised by this modern room and great location. It was perfect for touring the city and for taking the ferry. The check in was early and we were warmly welcomed. No complaints

Chose property based on proximity to ferry terminal and reviews. We are a 2 minute walk away so we can sit in the roof deck and go over just before boarding - avoiding heat and crowds of the port. The room was unexpectedly elegant, perhaps the best room we have had in Sicily and for the price the best. We had an excellent dinner recommendation (Doppio Gusto) 5 mins away. Breakfast was served on the very pleasant roof terrace. Overall excellent

Very friendly staff and lovely breakfast. Parking was a bit difficult but worked out in the end.

Great location close to ferry port. Incredible view! Breakfast on the terrace was nice. The shower door was inoperable. Basically just showered in an open room.

Centrally located and perfect for ferries to Aeolian islands. Great balcony, comfy bed, good shower, nice breakfast. Note that reception/check in is next door at No.46 then access your room in No.48 when you have keys!
