Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Milwaukee North

Location Notified the desk early Saturday that toilet was not working hoping that they would work on it while we were out all day for a funeral. Came back after 8pm to find the room was not cleaned and toilet still not working. Desk staff came up to check and offered to switch us out but gave us a queen instead of a King that was originally booked. Too late to argue but very disappointed.

Our stay was very confortable

While the hotel was generally clean, our room had some challenges. Air conditioning cooled the room but left everything feeling damp and smelling musty or dirty, including carpet that felt wet. Bathroom had tile pulled away from the wall and mildew in the shower. I sent a few messages to the front desk, and when we checked out a day early and told the front desk she smiled and took our key. I don’t know if this is indicative of the hotel or just our room, but can’t recommend staying here.

Exceptional

Told I am getting a partial refund. No TV amenities had worked the duration of stay and the hotel knew that prior to allowing room confirmation as admitted by front desk staff at time of check in. Additionally, no body soap found anywhere within hotel room as necessary for shower. Very upset

I was really happy with this hotel. The breakfast was phenomenal I had a lot of good options. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We had plenty of towels. My only complaint was the door was really hard to open and sometimes it took me several times to get it. The shower was great and I loved that it had shelves to put our stuff on.

There was spilled chocolate milk in the elevator on the floor, and our room was very musty smelling. There was a bathroom tile, not attached by the floor.

We requested additional towels for the next day and none were left. Also when the room was cleaned, the floors were not valcuumed or swept.

Upon arrival, the WiFi was down. Had to wait an hour before the staff could check me into my room. The manager - Mi - did an excellent job of getting the issue resolved (getting me into a room) and keeping guest calm. Despite her best efforts, the WIFi remained down during my entire 4 night stay. Ultimately, I'd stay there again. Beds were very comfortable. Hotel was nice.

Great location in terms of access to shopping and restaurants. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. We didn't use the pool so all I can say is that it was quite small. My only real complaint is the hallway to our room. It was poorly lit, drab (no art or anything on the walls), and at least while we were there, smelled horribly of weed.

Front desk was rude at check-in and the room/hallways were dirty. Terrible signage to find the hotel. Breakfast was fine. Good location. Overpriced and not up to Fairfield/Marriott standards.

This hotel was the epitome of customer service. All of my questions, needs and concerns were met with honest professionalism and courteousness.

It’s a nice spot but this one time I had horrible experience mind you I drive from Texas to Milwaukee ordered room online was told I can do early check in. I was charged for it and everything for me to get there and they say we are overbooked and apologize can you can back at 3pm but was told tbh I dnt think they have anything for the 3pm even though I booked already but was told that yes but what he see is a lot people not checking out til Monday which definitely disappointed and discouraged me from even wanting to take that risk because again I just drove from Texas to MILWAUKEE mind you if there was other places available I definitely would have went which I did but because of the hotel’s misunderstanding and overbooked I didn’t stay there this time so I just took a big lost and when I tried get refund says well we can’t do that like whattttt service was horrible this day and so was experience not to mention it was my birthday sooooo yea I’m definitely filing a dispute and definitely will be calling again to try rectify this situation as it’s never happened before when I’ve stayed previous times
