Waikiki Hostel

Nothing mattresses are very old and some dirt stained, many crazy ones who are getting high and stinking marijuana

Shat a bad place, they asked me me to cancel the reservation because they have other prices then they try to charge me nor than the real deal

Comfortable facilities, good to meet people if you are traveling alone I felt the springs of my bed, but I didn't give it much importance.

Staff are very helpful and welcoming, good location and shuttle to the airport, nice terrace area upstairs to chill No window in the dorm room, but not much they can do about this

The best stuff ever Miguel Alee fiorella and rest of the stuff really willing to help with everything great value for money and great breakfast hostel that got into my heart!

Decent place. Fresh rooms and nice beds. No towel included. Wifi does not work at all in the dorms, keep that in mind when you book.

Welcoming, clean, bar upstairs wasn’t noisy, bed was comfortable and had its own bathroom. The staff were excellent. Could get breakfast for a good price at the hostel and coffee ! as I arrived at 6am, they assist to arrange a car prior and the driver was flexible; this is an excellent service for 24/7 and early morning flights. Staff are super helpful, rooms is other wise well appointed with all basic needs.bed lamps ports for phone chargers etc, and quiet times are respected for sleeping, and it’s clean and tidy. The aircon for the rest of the downstairs part of the building is located on the floor above and as it cools other rooms it tends to vibrate above the double room. This isn’t something that the staff can change; bring ear plugs as when it’s on it vibrates on its holdings and directly above the room.

If I'd be picky I'd say that beds with curtains would be nice

Nice vibes, the staff was very friendly and helpful with tips for travelling. The kitchen is a bit too small

Location is really nice, plus if you surfing is really close to the beach, Fiorela is absolutely legend up at the rooftop beating you in Jenga and mixing best pisco ??

We stayed in the private rooms and this was fantastic. Brilliant breakfast, amazing ambiance, very clean, everyone was very friendly. Oscar at the door with his dog was so wonderful, lively and kind. And Daniel was so charming, helpful and so amazing! Our stay was incredible and these 2 individuals made it really special for us. Alsp walking distance from everything! Perfect! Thank you Waikiki/Conto plata 145 We booked private rooms and this was separate from Waikiki. Would have been helpful to have been given the new address in an email to go to before we arrived. Otherwise everything was excellent

Overall, it was a good experience, but I wouldn’t stay there again. The dorms were clean, the shower is awesome and the area upstairs is very nice. The location was not perfect, cause despite being just a short walk of everything, it’s not right in the middle of Miraflores. The kitchen is fully equipped but the itens are old. The staff is nice, especially the girls at reception but at times it seems like they’re watching you and you don’t feel at home.

Safe neighborhood. Easy to find. Showers hot and good pressure. Beds and rooms were reasonable with good linen. Nice sized rooms. Staff with good English generally and quite helpful. Get a lot of street noise through the day. Also, rooms near the reception area get to hear everything from reception, so the night staff should keep the noise and chat to low decibels at midnight and after

staff were helpful, friendly, there was even a security guard on the door 24/7 which made us feel safe. we chose to stay in a private bedroom with private bathroom which is what we as a couple enjoy. we also like the rooftop bar and hot tub! when we booked the address advertised was not the address when we arrived, so we ended up staying in a slightly different area of town. which we were okay with, just make sure you are before you book.

Although I booked Waikiki, their private rooms are located at another hostel (Alpes Lima Kennedy Hostel) so my review is based on the latter. I wish I knew prior that I’d be accommodated there instead of at Waikiki, however, they are pretty close to one another, so I wasn’t greatly inconvenienced. The rooms are clean and beautiful. The bed is very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the security guard on the first floor. Edwin was very warm and welcoming. The breakfast is also great! They really surpassed my expectations. Great amenities for the price.. Overall a pretty decent budget accommodation. The hostel (Alpes) can be pretty noisy, especially at night. You can hear people walking around on the top floor. My room was located right beside the staircase, so I could hear when people where going up and down the steps. Not sure if it was the air conditioning unit (I assume so), but some unit or water pump of the sort was making quite a bit of noise. Sometimes falling asleep was difficult. The bathroom was clean, but it had a bit of an off-putting smell that was hard to get rid of. Because of that, I never kept the bathroom door open since the smell would wander into the bedroom. Their exchange rate is also higher than the listed rate. At the time of my stay, their rate was 1 USD:4 SOL. Also, there is a 5% charge for card payments. So I ended up paying a little more than expected (~$12 US more).

Great location walking distance in Miraflores Great roof top ,for the Alpes Lima Kennedy hostal First of all this hotel does not have private rooms So then you get there from a long flight (they mentioned perhaps in email which was definitely not understood!!) That the private rooms are in a different building Which we thought they have two buildings and it’s next to But it’s a few blocks down with a totally different name…. So in the early morning we were exhausted and we had to pull our things and walk over … It’s the Alpes Lima Kennedy hostal Very uncomfortable rooms!! The staff don’t give you a really good feeling…more like they are doing you a favor… And they can even look annoyed by you.. you can get for the same price of a private room in a hotel ! Just avoid …!!
