The location is lovely and peaceful in beautiful grounds. Extremely friendly and comfortable The only thing that would have been better for us would have been a slightly earlier breakfast as this didn’t start until 8.30 which was a little late for us

Didn’t get breakfast as it was fully booked. I didn’t book b&b as didn’t want it every day but also wasnt aware i should have booked Bed was pretty soft and moved a bit which was a little unnerving

Location is superb. Quiet yet very close to an excellent pub with great food. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is in top order and nicely carpeted and decorated. Plenty of parking space and a quiet environment I had a single bed which was a tad too small for me. I should have got a double.

The location was amazing, very quiet and peaceful. Also was literally in the middle of St Ives and Newquay, which are 2 of my favourite places in Cornwall. To be honest I cannot pick a fault with this hotel, the room was well cleaned, the location is amazing, the breakfast and the bar were great and the check in situation was perfect as we arrived a little late.

Attractive Georgian house with modern extension. Very quiet at night. Comfortable room. Close to St Agnes (5 minutes by car). The hotel looked a bit outdated and dark downstairs. Seems to need investment. We weren’t enticed to use the bar or have breakfast. The garden borders by the house needed a good weed

Lovely old building, carefully and thoughtfully renovated to a high standard, in a wonderfully peaceful location. Unusual and mouthwatering and dinner menu options, the two dishes we had were very good. We thought that, for the price, the continental style breakfast offerings were limited. I had a hot dish which was cooked to perfection.

Great location. The hotel and staff were lovely

The room was very clean. We paid £150 plus for room only in September, which I thought was on the steep side but the reviews were good. Breakfast was £20 a head and not very tasty. The bed was small (4’6”) which these days is not really acceptable-the room would have been large enough for a larger bed. The TV was awkwardly placed for viewing. The duvet was cheap and synthetic and could do with replacing. I really was quite disappointed and feel the hotel could really do with refurbishment.
