We loved the location in the heart of St Agnes and the proximity of Trevaunance cove( a beautiful spot). Staff , especially Steph were lovely, friendly and helpful . Our room was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom good. The breakfast was great with good options and hot drinks were topped up as required. The bar area was quirky and lovely. Car parking free and accessible via outdoor seating areas. Nil

The location is perfect - in the middle of the village and a few minutes away from the coastal path. My room was immaculate. Staff couldn't have done more to make me feel welcome Pub grub and beer both excellent I don't normally bother with providing a review but this one deserves a shout out n/a

Location in heart of St Agnes. Excellent food and friendly staff. Can’t think of anything.

This is a local county pub/hub with rooms. Pretty much like it describes on the web site. Very friendly staff and locals. The room was also visually exactly as shown on the web site. Excellent breakfast The shower was massively underpowerd and a disappointment. If you had been out all day and got back hot and sweaty this would be a problem. The web seite describes a restaurant with local food including and emphasis on the fresh fish. there is no restuarant. It's a pub with tables around the sides and the ends. Both ends have huge TV screens and one has a pool table. On Saturday night at 7.15 fish and chips was sold out. One of the reasons for selecting this venue was because of the food offer. So, the web site is currently misleading.

Nice size clean bedroom, en suite bathroom a little on the small size. Friendly staff. Not much choice at breakfast, no cereal available. Cooked breakfast was nice though.

Location Rather shabby. staff, sadly, completely overworked. Banging building rocks at 4 pm when we were trying to relax and rest.

Breakfast was lovely. We were told we had booked a twin room on arrival. We had not we had booked a quadruple room as shown on my booking. We were given a king room - but why not just say you have been upgraded rather then make it my fault? . We invited friends for dinner. There was no choice. Most things had sold out. I ended up with a burger which was pretty bland..

This is a beautiful old hotel in excellent condition, everything spotlessly clean and fresh, with a lovely friendly and personal welcome. We were given a room on the top floor up the nicely proportioned staircase, which had a superb view of the pretty church opposite and of the village high street. Everything about the room was squeaky clean and fresh and we had plenty of fresh air through two windows. The pub downstairs didn't disturb with noise and we ate there one night and down the hill at the Peterville the other night. Breakfasts were excellent, too. The mattress was a bit soft for my taste.

An excellent balance of friendly informality and professionalism. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was immaculate and the food was first class (apart from the rather anaemic breakfast sausages!). Highly recommended. Breakfast sausages.

Great location, comfortable clean rooms No conditioner in room, only shampoo. The toiletries should be better quality for the price. Breakfast was OK, bread heavily seeded, a choice would be good. And someone on another table asked for jam and they didn’t have any! That’s not great

This nice hotel in the town center and run by young people. The ground floor is a pub and it has very nice atmosphere. Rooms are clean. Free car parking available behind the hotel. I stay during my visit for utmb arc of attrition, 8 minutes driving distance to ecopark. It is very close to other restaurants and Cornish bakery. Nothing. I like everything.
