It’s a traditional Japanese place good experience. Loved the traditional bath Would have been nice to have toilet in the room

Central position. Stone throwing from the station. Nice lake view. Very friendly stuff. The dinner and the breakfast were delicious but overpriced.
-
The food, kind and accommodating staff, how close it was to the station, it has an elevator, close to all attractions

The onsen was lovely and clean, and our room overlooked the water. Our breakfasts were delicious. We had to be in by 11pm sharp or else we could be locked out. With friends staying nearby this was a slight annoyance.
-
Little family owned hotel with traditional rooms and shared traditional bath. Very charming and practical location.

The dinner and breakfast served were delicious traditional Japanese meals. The staff cooking and serving were extremely friendly and helpful, even though I was unfamiliar with some of the food that was being served. Room had a great view of the water and the onsen facilities were nice. Staying here felt like I was visiting a friend's grandparent's house (in the nicest possible way). They used a scent in the room (air freshener, I think?) that wasn't my favorite. But it wasn't too bothersome.

Very clean room, stylish relax rooms and corridors, clean bath, kind staff, very taste breakfast and dinners, great location. The price of staying was too expensive in my opinion, because it is not ryokan, but minshuku. But all services were okay.

We arrived at 6 pm to catch the golden hour at the Amanohashidate, which is only 10 mins walk from the hotel. It was ease to find a parking spot thanks to the assistance of the staff (old lady). Rooms were OK, onsen small but nice. The staff could not speak English and it caused a lot of troubles. Firstly Booking.com offered a possibility to pay 10€ for the breakfast. They did not offer this and we were disappointed. By the check-out we wanted to use the bath before next trip. Staff (middle aged man) was VERY rude and started to shout at us. We did not know, that onsen was only until 9 am, no one told us… So again, if we would know more, we would have less troubles. The place is still nice and I hope that the staff (probably owners?) will learn at least a super basic phrases to avoid such situations.

Location is good, very near to the train station. Room was clean and enough space. A lot of facility. The staffs can not speak english at all. they kept speaking japanese and didn’t care whether I understand or not.

The place felt authentic

Is traditional Japanese style ryokan. Room quite big. We love a lot Japanese style breakfast. Overall ?. Share bathroom and toilet. Near to train station.
-
It was exactly as described. The staff were lovely and the breakfast exceptional- it would be difficult if you don’t like fish, you are in a fishing village and area. The onset was delightful at the end of the day. Nothing really, a real Japanese still hotel which is what you are booking. You have to try it to appreciate it.

Location & Property Service of the staff

Very good
-
Very close to train station. Very good breakfast. Ocean view room. Only 1 small Onsen that had separate hours for men and women.
-
Friendly staff, comfortable room and view and able to book a private onsen. Walls were a bit thin
-
Tasty breakfast, clean rooms, small but neat and peaceful onsen. Recommended in general. Old lady (most probable the owner) does not bother with formal language (keigo) when dealing with foreigners even when they speak Japanese and I found her attitude rude in general.
-
The dinner was one of the best I’ve had on my whole trip!
