Il Gallo

Antonia, my host, was extremely kind since the very beginning: I booked my 1-night stay on a short notice, at 10pm of the same day, and she promptly messaged me to confirm the booking and make sure she would be there in time for my check-in. I couldn't have had a more pleasant experience mainly due to her kindness. The accommodation is exactly as shown on the pictures, and I had a very calm and relaxing night of sleep. Breakfast was very tasty, prepared and served by her mama, which made my experience there even more special. I would definitely recommend them if you look for some peace and quality resting time. What can I say. Antonella, the host, was amazing with friendly and helpful approach. She was very welcoming but very modest and kind equally. The place itself isn't in the city centre but around 4km away by car which we didn't mind. The walk in Antonella ´s olive garden was well worth the drive. You are surrounded by not only olives trees but also pomegranate, lemon, tangerine and orange trees which Antonella makes juice from. We didn't try this though nor the breakfast but were offered a coffee with homemade biscuits which was very kind gesture and tasted so good. As we were leaving, Antonella brought small bowl with their own olives for a journey and they also tasted amazing. For us is definitely not a goodbye but more ´a see you later´ (or hopefully see you soon :)) ) Kamila the rain, but that wasn't anyone´s fault :)

The owner(Antonella) was really nice, helpful and good-homored person, she helped us for our every questions. He had to leave from there early. We missed their very nice breakfast. But in anycase she offered us morning coffee and some fruits for our journey as a gift. We will stay there if we visit to Puglia again. Thanks

We had a really great stay in Il Gallo which is only a really short ride from Monopoli. The room was really nice and the hospitality of Antonella was outstanding. She even helped us after we left her place.

Antonella is a wonderful host. She waited for us by car at the train station. She helped us in choosing beaches and gave us a lot of useful information. Breakfast in the tangerine garden was lovely. She is a true master of homemade sweets ?

The service was great. We have particularly appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the breakfast. The cakes that Antonella made were so delicious ? all very fresh and of great quantity! If we go back to Monopoli we will for sure go back to il gallo too ? Grazie Antonella e a presto.

Lovely location just outside Monopoli. Price was fair for the stay. Very welcoming hosts. Breakfast was delicious and lots of it. Would recommend this place N/A

Wonderful welcoming B&B. Antonella made me feel at home straight away. Gave me wonderful tips to visit Monopoli. The room is spacious with comfortable beds. Breakfast on the terrace with Orange juice and cherries straight from the garden. Very friendly host! I can recommend this B&B fully.

The property is lovely, located in a beatiful garden full of mandarins and oranges. The lady who runs it is super kind. You do not want to miss her breakfast - freshly squeezed oranje juice and homemade cake (or/and omelets) which can easily be the best one I have tried yet :)

This place is truly amazing. Very well situated just a couple of minutes out of Monopoli. The host is so nice and welcoming. We had the most amazing breakfast in Puglia. Do not hesitate and book this place. Thumbs up n/a
