The location was great and easy to explore so many highlights of Puglia in the area. Also liked that it had a tennis court! Beautiful property with so many ancient Olive trees. Nothing. It was perfect

The property is beautiful. Something out of a movie . Countryside living at its finest the property is also huge. Very nice to walk around. This is different for everyone. The only thing that was a negative is how far away you are form the town itself and anything in walking distance. You are constrained to the property.

Lovely hotel in the countryside surrounded by olive groves. The room was spacious and very well decorated. The breakfast was excellent and offered many options (porridge, pancakes, eggs, etc.). We had dinner in the restaurant our first night, the food and service were excellent. We also ate in the small bar one night when we wanted a light dinner, the food and service were very good. We visited in April and enjoyed the outdoor and indoor pools. We had a car and found this an excellent base for our travels to Monopoli, Alberobello and other towns in the area. There was nothing we did not like.

it was really lovely and relaxing the distance from any other restaurants/towns - the staff were quite resistant to helping with taxi's and I did have a bit of a row with one girl - also taxi are very expensive €25 for 10 minute journey the beach club is good value in comparison to other "luxury" clubs nearby - however the facilities and decor are quite dated and the staff are very disorganised (but nice people)

The buildings are on an immense plot of land in the middle or olive groves.It has many white washed buildings dotted with olives and flower. Many of the olives are many centuries old. the rooms are immaculate and tastefully furnished. The property exudes peacefulness. The masseria has an excellent in house restaurant and has an extensive wine list. The staff are kind and helpful. We had a car but the location ca. 4 km outside of Monopoli requires one.

A truly special experience at Il Melograno, Monopoli The hotel is simply stunning - a large and beautiful estate with only a small number of rooms, which makes you feel as if the entire place is yours. Everything is spotless, peaceful, and incredibly charming. The food is great, with a rich breakfast, and also the restaurant for dinner was very good! The service was excellent and very personal. A special thanks to Alessandra, who hosted a wonderful cooking class for us. She was so kind, patient, and knowledgeable - she truly taught us the art of cooking! It was such a lovely and unique experience to prepare, bake, and even take home what we made, along with the recipe as a keepsake ?. Alessandra also gave us great local recommendations that made our stay even better. We truly loved every moment and will definitely come back!

Open space, courtyard setting, centuries old olive trees. It was not the property’s fault, but the smell of intentional burning of leaves and vegetation by the local residents, polluted the air and made it an unpleasant experience.

The staff is very friendly and the concierge was extremely helpful in recommending places to visit and great restaurants. On entering the property and the hotel you are immediately surrounded by magnificent olive trees which gives this hotel a very special flair.

Was central to many areas in Puglia and the staff was welcoming and authentic. The place is beautiful.

Overall, we had a very good stay and would recommend this hotel if you're looking for a peaceful retreat in nature. Main positives: - Beautiful and quiet location with old trees, large grounds, and plenty of relaxing spots - Well organized activities and events (special thanks to Alessandra doing a great job!) - Cosy and comfortable rooms. Great room service! Unfortunately, I think the hotel falls a bit short for a 5* hotel and I would rate it more like a 4.5*. Areas for improvement: - Gym is small and outdated, below 5 star standards!! - Sauna access costs 50€/30min, not complimentary... - Indoor pool area feels underused and underwhelming (I've barely seen any clients spend time there) - rooms don't have bathtubs The property has strong potential, but a few upgrades are needed to truly meet 5 star expectations.
