Great location - splendid view on the Mont Saint Michele right from the balcony. Clean, comfortable. Right near the bus stop to the Abbey and very close to the restaurants. The communication wasn't really good - we had no idea how to get to the property because it's located in a secure area with the limited access that requires some code to get in. So we needed to ask for a help to phone the hotel to get that code. No AC.

The location is excellent. It is one of the last hotels before the restricted access area to Mont-Saint-Michel, so you can easily walk to the island, and the shuttle stop is right outside. Having parking so close to the hotel is also very convenient. The hotel itself is very basic and feels like just a place to sleep. There is no air conditioning, which I understand may be common in Normandy, but at least a fan would make a huge difference. During the day the room gets very hot, and with the windows open, flies come in. At night the temperature is comfortable, but because the windows have to stay open, the room is noisy due to the shuttle stop and the fire station across the road. The reception is located in a separate building across the street. The receptionist simply handed us the key without explaining that the hotel has multiple entrances or that our room was in the second building on the upper floor. We spent quite a while carrying our luggage around in the heat trying to find the room. The parking instructions were also incorrect. At check-in, we were told that, as hotel guests, we could simply drive out without paying, so we threw away the parking ticket. At departure, we found out that the ticket was actually required to pay for parking. Clearer instructions would have avoided this inconvenience.

We had no idea that the property was so very close to Mont St Michel. It was a pleasant surprise! Our hotel view was lovely. Make sure you check your confirmation when you book. I wasn’t aware that we needed to register and have a code to access the tourist area where the hotel is located. Thankfully after 20 min, reception picked up and promptly relayed it to us by phone. It said parking was provided, but we still had to pay 10Euro to leave for whatever reason. FYI- If you travel here during the heatwave, there is no real AC, or fans. The weather was normal when we stayed and thankfully there was a nice breeze with our room window open, but make sure you somehow get enough sleep because the sun goes down at 1030p in the summer and still rises at 530-6a and there are no curtains or shades to block it to sleep in ha ha.

The view, the window open, the fan. The heat! But mont st michel was worth it.

It felt like the place was a prison. All the hotels are under one reception. Have to walk far. Room had bard mold growth on walls. And you have to pay to park. It felt like a Disney theme park.

Great location No AC and refrigerator in the room
-
The closest to the shuttle

The only good thing about it was the location if you want to stay near Mont Saint Michel The room had a strong smell of beer when we arrived, which immediately gave the impression that the room was not clean or properly maintained. It did not feel fresh or ready for new guests, and this significantly affected our stay. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I would not recommend this property to other travelers.

One of the two rooms seemed to have been updated. Mold in the one room.
-
Definitely aged. Carpet didn't seem like it had been cleaned for a decade. Half shower door had thick mold build up.
-
Great location, check-in was super easy Wish they could have fulfilled the bed request
-
Location Limited room space but that was just what we paid for.
-
Great location with patio view of Mont St. Michel. The room and bath were clean and generally comfortable, though a little dated. Check-in/out at hotel across the street was easy and staff were very kind and helpful. Parking was convenient, and bus to island is right outside if needed. Outdoor deck was in need of some maintenance/repair and indoor carpets seemed a bit old/worn. Bed was a bit firm.

The hotel OPPOSITE which seems to have a tie-up with this smaller hotel, which is much more expensive and fancy. However we could store our bags at this bigger hotel and they also were responsible for checking us in and giving us the keys to the booked hotel. We opted for the 16 Euro breakfast at the fancy hotel, which was an absolutely amazing buffet with a view of the island. Overall the smaller hotel that we booked for fine for one night. Carpet on the floor was not super clean. Bedding was also okay, not super clean.

The view is breathtaking from breakfast The room was with spider nets.
-
Very close to Mont St. Michel. Clean, comfy bed, large room Make sure you make arrangements, if you arrive in a car for parking near the hotel. They gave us the wrong code to get into hotel. A bit complicated. We eventually got in the room.

we really appreciated how close it was to Mont saint-Michel itself in terms of walking distance and to the shuttle stop. the breakfast was a great add-on with a gorgeous view of the Mont every morning. the room was great in terms of comfort and facilities minus the fact that there wasn’t any a/c (to keep in mind for warmer months) the lack of a/c during the warmer days

The location is great, and breakfast is good enough Reception need to go opposite building. No evaluators when carry luggage

What a little gem! We arrived quite late but Merci to Alain the receptionist who took great care of us. The restaurant/bar was being renovated during our stay so the breakfast was served at the Relais opposite. Great view of Mont-St-Michel and the food was excellent and location was all we could have hoped for. Nothing
